I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Winter/Valentine's Home Tour, 2020

Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

I want to wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day!!

I hope you get to spend it with those that you love.....

I may decorate for Valentine's Day but we really do not make a big deal as far as celebrating it....

Joe and I will probably order a meal to bring home from one of our favorite restaurants some time over the weekend and before February is over, I will have the kids over for dinner and make some of their favorite foods....

I will be leaving up Winter and Valentine's decor until the end of February......

Today, I will be sharing my Winter and Valentine's Day Home Tour to wrap up this Season.....

We will start with the front of our house decorated for Winter.......
In the evening, all lit up......
The Den is the only room that I decorated solely for Winter......
The Kitchen is decorated for Winter with a touch of Valentine's thrown in!!!!
The Powder Room is decorated for Winter with Snow Buddies and a few Valentine's decorations!!!
The Living Room is decorated for Valentine's Day in red and gold.....
The Dining Room is decorated for Valentine's Day in mainly pink and white......
And there you have it!!

I enjoyed being able to decorate our townhouse for Winter and Valentine's Day this year as I only was able to do about half of what I usually do last year because of needing my Knee surgery......

I look forward to decorating for Easter this year because i totally missed it last year!!!

I did a lot of work in January packing away Christmas and redecorating the house so in February, I sort of took it easy even though I have been packing away Christmas upstairs and cleaning those rooms......

I am not done yet but I am getting there.....there is no hurry.....

As I mentioned in a previous post, I chose "Contemplate" as my Word for the Month of February.....

I have been doing a lot of contemplating......

Soon I will be sharing what exactly I have been contemplating......

So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!

Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  6. I especially loved your Valentine tree. I think you would really enjoy Emilie Barnes' book Welcome Home. It has many pictures of her home.

  8. Wow! Your home is just brimming with festivity and you can see that love put every piece in it's place.

I see you like Snowy Owls. My husband and I have been blessed to see snowy owls during the winter time here in Southern New England

And who doesn't love a doll house!

Thanks for sharing your home with us.
