Thanks so much, Laurie!
You may remember that this is the way the Powder Room looked for Christmas and Winter......
Painting this room gray several years ago allows me to change the whole feel of the room with the color of the accessories that I use.....
I have now changed it back to what it normally looks like.....
And I do apologize to those that have seen this room before but I do have some new followers who maybe have not seen it before.......
You can see that the Blue and White of the Snow Buddies and Christmas decorations has been replaced with Pink and Black.........
Let's start over to the right of the door...........
This Powder Room sign hangs above the door.......
This is the corner above the sink......
I like to use shelves........
Many of the items now used in this room have a Victorian Boudoir feel........
The beads hanging from the shelf were bought after Christmas at Wegman's........
These pictures were yard sale finds and I spray painted the frames black......
I also like to decorate above the medicine cabinet.....
The sink area......
A silver tea cup and saucer are used for a soap dish.......
Moving around the room....
You can see that I have used a lot of perfume bottles, beads, purses. picture frames with vintage pictures in them and gloves......
A shelf unit above the toilet.......
Between the medicine cabinet and shelf unit.......
Above the toilet......
In the corner.......
A candle chandy and vintage tole tray hangs in the corner.......
An estagere sits in the corner......
Another shelf unit hangs on this wall.......
Sconces on each side.....
Above the shelf unit......
On each of the small Home Interior shelves.......
I did mention that I like shelves, didn't I?
A purse hangs from the sconce on the right side......
Above the closet that houses the washer and dryer.....
A plaque that I made......
The Powder Room will now stay like this until it is time to decorate it for Christmas......
I hoped you enjoyed seeing how changing the colors and theme of your accessories could make a room look totally different!!
I hope you will come by and visit again!!
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
Hugs,
Debbie

ReplyDeleteI love the black. Black and pink are so beautiful together. Thanks for sharing at Monday Social.
ReplyDeleteEvery time I come visit you Debbie I'm astonished by all the beautiful things you've collected and how you display them for everyone to see and enjoy. I could spend hours in your powder room just soaking up all the bits and pieces. The plaque you made is lovely too and it fits perfectly into the whole theme you've created. Hope you have a lovely week and that Joe's enjoying his retirement. Sending you lots of love as always from South Africa
