I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Winter/ Valentine's in the Powder Room

 Welcome!!

I know Valentine's Day is over but I have one last post showcasing my Winter/ Valentine decorations.....

I do leave up all my Winter and Valentine decorations until the end of February because February is American Heart Month!!
Today, I am going to share how I changed over Christmas decorations in the Powder Room to Winter and Valentine's decor..........
I switched out the Christmas decor for Valentine's decor.........

Above the door.....
A small heart wreath that I made.......
Added a red bottle brush tree........
Silver hearts hang from the shelf.....
I left the top of the medicine cabinet the same......
I hung another small heart wreath that I made under the Winter slate.....
I like the reflection in the mirror.....
Remember these plates that Joe bought on clearance after Christmas in Pier One????
They are now on the sink.......
More heart ornaments were hung on these frames......
This shelf unit stayed the same......
I did move a silver mercury tree here on top of the commode .......
And added a Valentine Snow Buddy.....

I took all Christmas related ornaments off the Tree......
And replaced them with red heart ornaments.....
Again, I removed  a few Santa's from this shelf.........
Hung a silver heart ornament and deer........
And added another Valentine Snow Buddy.......
On the small shelf unit next to the estagere......
A crystal vase filled with red roses and a bow made from Valentine ribbon.............
"The Queen of Everything"!
I did change this shelf up a bit.......
I replaced the Santa's that were on the shelves with 2 mercury glass trees and red roses.....
Added another red bottle brush tree......
I replaced some of the Snow Buddies with Valentine Snow Buddies.......
"Be Mine"
A mercury glass heart......
And these Valentine Snow Buddies have a postal theme ( Joe was a Letter Carrier for the US Post Office)
And I also hung another heart ornament from this framed Winter picture......
And on the Powder Room door, hangs a large heart wreath that I made......
In the hallway from the Living Room to the Kitchen........
On a mirror, hangs another Valentine wreath that I made.....
There is a heart in the center that I embellished......
Underneath the wreath is a snow man plaque and a heart plaque that I also made.......
And this finished up my tour of the Powder Room decorated for Winter/ Valentine's Day.......

The rest of my posts showcasing my Winter and Valentine's decorations are on my Side Bar if you missed any of them.......

I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  3. Great wreaths, I love the first one you shared the most. Love the added hearts on the trees with the winter decorations, and since I love snowmen these are all too cute, especially the queen :) Those snowman towels are great too!

  5. Debbie your Queen of everything is adorable, just lounging around on her throne and probably giving orders to all those little blue winter snowmen buddies.
