Haunted Houses and A Fortune Teller, Spooky Halloween Dining Room

 Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

ANNOUNCEMENT

I am now posting 3 times a week !!!

I will be posting on TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY

With the beginning of Fall, the HOLIDAY SEASON starts for me....

I consider the Holiday Season from September until after Easter as I decorate for all the Holidays and Seasons in between those months....

So I usually have a lot to share....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today I will be sharing 2 Haunted Houses and Sammy, the Fortune Teller in my Spooky Dining Room all decked out for Halloween...

In my last post, I shared my Spooky Witch's Potion Buffet in the Dining Room....

 And the chandy........

Click HERE if you missed that post....

And now for a few Personal Notes...

We had our Grand Pups as House Guests for 2 days....

This is Faye, looking out the front door from her favorite perch....

Until she realized I put my folded sleeping blanket and a throw there on the chair as I sleep on the sofa with them when they visit...

Faye rearranged the throw and made herself a nice place to take a nap!!!

It wasn't long until she was fast asleep....

Azumi decided she would take a nap on her Mimi's lap.....

Good thing I did not have any plans to do anything!!!

 When she finally woke up....

Then Faye decided to come and lay on my lap and was shivering as they both got hair cuts 3 days ago so I wrapped her in a throw.....

Azumi with her G Pop!!

We enjoyed having them!!

I thought this would give you a Chucckle!!

Joe came running in to the house, screaming that his keys got caught on the garbage bag that he just threw in our dumpsters!!!

I told him to use the "grabbers" that I have because of my Knee Surgery....

Notice that this is the larger dumpster which does not have the side doors!!!

There he is with broom and 2 grabbers in hand!!!

He did manage to hook the bag but when he flung it out of the dumpster, the keys flew off and hit him in the chest!!!!

LOL!!

At least they did not hit him in the face!!!

And he did not have to get a ladder to climb up and then down into the dumpster to find those keys!!!

You know I would have been totally hysterical if that happened but I definitely would still have taken pictures of that!!!!!

LOL!!

Today, I will be sharing my 2 Haunted Houses in the Dining Room and a Fortune Teller area....

Next to the buffet is a small curio...

On top of the curio....

A Jack O Lantern on the shelf above the curio.....

I bought this Haunted House at Target years ago.....

I did add some orange trim to it along with the ghost stickers....

My friend Anne Marie gifted me these sweet Halloween figures....

The tombstones are actually candy boxes from Dollar Tree....

The Pumpkin Man was also gifted to me by Anne Marie.....

The orange glittered bottle brush tree was bought at Dollar Tree this year....

The House lights up by battery....

On the floor in front of the curio....

The Witch's Hat I made recently....

" Beware  Giant Spider"

Which is sitting on top of the silver mercury glass pumpkin......

And a pumpkin I made from a roll of toilet paper....

I bought these Halloween runners about 10 years ago at Big Lot's and of course, they were on Clearance....

On top of the Hutch, is my second Haunted House....

Joe bought this Haunted House for me the first year we were married from a co worker of his who did ceramics....

I have had it for 44 Halloweens now...

The Pumpkin people are actually votive candles holders and were made by Yankee Candle Company.....

Joe cashed in his comp points from the local casino for them several years ago...

I added 2 orange bottle brush Halloween trees and the black tree with the ghost to this scene this year....

The skeletons are from Dollar General....

A bit spookier.....

To the side of the hutch.....

You can have your Fortune told by Sammy, who is a Fortune Teller....

He has put out his "Shingle " to advertise his talent!!

All Dollar Tree signs....

I hung a Halloween tussie mussie that was gifted to me by my friend, Anne Marie, here....

His certificate in "Fortune Telling" is displayed on the hutch!!

A Bearington Bear Trick or Treater is waiting to have his Fortune told....

I embellished the white pumpkin....

Sammy is dressed for the occasion with his hat and bow tie on ....

I made both for him!!

Behind him is a book about beautiful Cemeteries and Tombstones....

Along with his constant mice companions....

And his crystal ball will become clear when he looks into your future!!

I hope you enjoyed seeing this area of my Dining Room.....

On THURSDAY, I will be sharing the rest of the Halloween decorations in the Dining Room and my Dining Room Halloween Tree!!!

Because on TUESDAY, October 11th, I will be participating in The Autumn on a Tray Blog Tour, hosted by Katherine, over at Katherine's Corner.....

  1. Cute grandpups. Good to hear Joe got his keys back, and thank goodness he didn't have to climb into the dumpster. It is Thanksgiving weekend here in Canada, lots of turkey to be eaten.

  5. Oh, my goodness!! Dumpster Diving! I'm glad he didn't fall in. Very tricky operation with his specialty tools! Whew.
I love the room, all the different vignettes! So many places too look and so much thought and detail. Most of my decorations are in boxes in my dining room while we work on the guest room project. Not sure it will be finished in time to set up. AND I figured out the comment issues. Thanks for your visits!

  8. I love looking at the pics of your Halloween decorations. They're spooky and happy at the same time. Faye and Azumi are adorable. We had a Shih Tzu named Isabel who passed away in 2019 -- she looked a lot like Azumi -- and we still miss her everyday. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 37.
