I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

Debra particularly liked my Funeral Basket!!

I know I have been missing in action for a bit but I have been so busy.....

Spring fever finally hit me because we had temps. in the 60's and even record breaking temps. in the 70's, pretty much melting all that snow we had

All at once, I was more than ready to pack away Winter and do some Spring cleaning and decorate for Easter so I have been working like a Mad Woman!!!!

I have finished the Dining Room.......

 And the Kitchen.....

And I am currently returning the Powder Room to "normal" and packed away all the Snow Buddies.....

I even managed to pack away all the Winter decorations outside in the front of the house.....

And I made banana bread for the first time in many years!!!

Since all of our snow is melted, I no longer want to look at Winter things so the Den will be next as most of it is still decorated for Winter.....

Like I said, I have been busy!!

In my last post, I shared how I changed over the Living Room from Fall/Winter to Spring/Summer....

And decorated the Tree that stays up year round for Easter.....

Click HERE if you missed that post.....

Today, I will be sharing how I decorated the rest of the Living Room for Easter ....

So pull up a chair and grab a cup of coffee or tea as this is a rather long post....

We will start here at the front door.....

I had changed the curtains, hanging peach lace curtains for the Spring/Summer......

Also on the front door....

A sweet bunny.....

Joe's great grandmother's hutch.....

Sorry about how the crystalized finish on the eggs on top of the hutch are reflecting the flash from the camera......

The top of the Hutch.....

I bought the large Bunnies at a Church Flea Market a few years ago for $3.00 each!!

I bought this cross at the same Church Flea Market for $1.00

I removed all the red accents that I had inside the Hutch for Valentine's Day.....

I did add 2 Bunnies to this shelf.....

On the side of the Hutch on the steps......

I made bows from aqua and purple deco mesh ribbon for the lanterns to match the bows on the Easter Trees in this room

Looking down the hall toward the Kitchen.....

This is a wreath that I made a few years ago.....

I always decorate this chair for the different Holidays......

My Mother bought this Easter basket for me about 40 years ago from someone she worked with who did macrame.....

Love this vintage styled sign.....

I moved the branch Tree back into the Living Room from the Dining Room where it was for Christmas and Valentine's.....

I decorated it with a lot of little eggs bought at Dollar Tree.......

The Tree was placed on top of a tray that I filled with Easter grass.....

Love this rocking Bunny that my friend Anne Marie gifted me....

In front of the curio.....

Is a Bunny I bought at 90% off in Tuesday Mornings one year....

Over by the Dining Room.....

Is the vintage cart that holds my Nostalgic stereo system.....

Yes, it is on wheels....

You can see the Easter Tree down the hall in the Kitchen.....

Just a few Easter touches.....

Just normal stuff in the chubby holes.....

In the other corner by the Dining Room....

I changed the linens on this round table to a peach lace topper....

Again, I added a few Easter things to the existing vignette.....

I already shared the Easter Cross that I made and my main Easter Tree.....

And the Bunny Patch underneath it.....

On the side of the TV Entertainment Center.....

 A vintage 3 tiered table.....

On top of the TV Entertainment Center....

 Is a Bunny Village.....

Most of these things were bought at the Christmas Tree Shop.....

I also decorated this small white Tree for Easter....

On the floor in front of the entertainment center, is a family of Bunnies....

The round table on the other side.....

By the front door.....

And that completes my tour of our Living Room decorated for Easter for this year.....

It will stay this way for most of the month of April....

Even though I did really enjoy my Winter and Valentine's decorations, it was nice to change things up a bit as I do get bored quickly.....

And changing the decor for different Holidays sure beats remodeling!!!

In my next post, I will be sharing the Easter decorations in the Dining  Room.....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  2. Gosh, it is all so lovely! I make remarks out loud as I scan through the pictures and stories. I wish I could comment on each picture as it goes by LOL. I love all your decorating and it is great when you point out specific items and their stories. You really are a bargain shopper. I especially liked the Easter village on top of the entertainment center. The pastels with glitter really spoke to me! So pretty

  4. You inspired me! I was so in awe of your picture sorting. I kept looking at the boxes at Michaels which were around $22 a piece on sale and trying to decide how many I would need and should I just start with one, but then I have to pay shipping . . . Then I checked one day last week and they were $44!!! So then I was mad I never ordered them. Well, I checked this morning in case they went back on sale AND - they are on clearance for $12.07!! I ordered 8 and hope that is enough. I have photos EVERYWHERE. Now I have to buckle down on this project!
