I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Sad News......

Our hearts are broken.....But my nephew John is no longer suffering...This was posted by my niece Renae....

"It is with a heavy heart that I post that Our John has been called home to Our Lord. He was the Best Husband, Father and Friend anyone could have had. He is at peace and is not suffering any more. Please pray for strength for our girls."

I am happy to say that I got to say Good-Bye to him as my niece Renae held the phone to his ear around midnight last night.

He took a deep breath after I finished talking so we feel that he heard me......

I  will be taking a break from posting for a few days..........

Hugs,
Deb

  10. Debbie, I am so sorry for your loss. It is the hardest thing to say goodby to someone so young. We went through that with our son a few years ago and I never want to go through it again, but it is not our say as to when things like this happen. I will pray for your niece and the beautiful young girls that have lost so much. Take care, my sweet friend, and we will talk later..xxoJudy

  12. Debbie, I am praying for your family. I know it's God's will...but it hurts all those that love someone. Our peace does come from knowing the pain one is in has gone . Your John is with God. Blessings, xoxo, Susie
