I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Halloween Tree Corner in the Dining Room, 2017

 Welcome!!

In my last post, I started to share my Halloween decorations in the Dining Room......

I decorate the Living Room in an Autumn Elegance theme but the Dining Room is reserved for Halloween!!!
In this post, I will be showing you where I chose to display my Halloween Tree this year .......
You may remember in the past, that my Halloween Tree used to stand on the buffet with my Halloween Village to the side of it.......
The village was replaced with my "Quote the Raven Nevermore" Buffet after I passed on my Halloween Village to my niece.......
Click HERE if you missed it.......

I want to Thank the Creative Team Hosts, Colleen over at Butterfly in the Attic and Darlene over at Let It Shine, for featuring my post, Embellished Fall Ornaments, from this past month's You're the Star Party!!!
Thanks to Colleen and Darlene and all the hosts of the You're the Star party!!!

Thanks to Claire, over at Claire Justine, for featuring my post, Autumn Elegance Pumpkin Patch, from last week's Creative Mondays Linky Party!!
 Thanks so much , Claire!!

Please stop by and link up to these great parties!!!!

I decided to move my Halloween Tree over to this corner where the round table is......
Truth be told, this is actually a different Tree.......
I gave the silver Tree that I used for a few years ( which I bought at a church Flea Market for $2.00) to my niece to use as a Christmas Tree for her daughter's room........
I bought this Tree in Big Lot's after Christmas on Clearance...........
I think it fits perfectly here on the table in the corner, don't you??????
I am also going to show you the area around the Tree in this post.......
But first, I want to show you my Halloween Tree.......
At the top of the Tree is a bow I made from 2 different Halloween ribbons.......
Hanging from a hook on the sofftt is a skeleton........
This Tree is decorated with skulls.........
Bats.........
Bony hands......
Spiders......
Black and silver ornaments......
Witch's hats.....
Skeletons......
Ghouls and Halloween ornaments......

Around the base, I have several silver mercury glass items......
Owls and a pumpkin.......
I made a tree skirt out of Halloween fabric........
There is a black spider web topper on top of the white tablecloth.......
I topped off the silver mercury pumpkin with a bow made from lace trim and silver ribbon..........
I hope you enjoyed seeing my Halloween Tree.........
I like to hang decorations on the window that is the divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room.......
A Happy Halloween sign..........
2 Halloween ornaments and a spider web..........
Next to the round table is a vintage smoking table.......
I decorated the top of the table and underneath the table.........
 The top of the table.......
Another silver mercury pumpkin rests in a crystal compote.....
The pumpkin is topped by a black crow or  raven if you want to think of it that way.......

2 peat pots that I embellished and decorated........
A bony hand holding a black glittered skull......
Potion books bought at Michael's last year.......
A floral arrangement of black flowers and orange leaves with pumpkin picks......
The area underneath the table........
There is a tiered tray that I bought many years ago in Target that fits underneath the table perfectly.......
A pumpkin that I embellished with trim.....
A spider, rat and a black and silver skull.......
On the floor is a white ceramic pumpkin that I bought at a church flea market.......
I used letter stickers to spell "Trick".......
And a bony foot bought at Dollar Tree.....
Next to the Tree on the right side.......
Is a marble topped plant stand with a bird cage resting on a silver tray on top of it.......
This was an old Home Interiors bird cage that I spray painted black......
It is topped with a bow and a "raven" from Dollar Tree......
Inside is a Dollar Tree silver skull........
On one side is a Skull, also bought at Dollar Tree a few years ago and an inverted milk glass candlestick holding a metal pumpkin that I painted black and added silver trim to........
A black lace head scarf covered the top of the plant stand.......
I hope you enjoyed seeing this corner of the Dining Room decorated for Halloween.......
In my next post, I will be sharing more of my Halloween decorations in the Dining Room.......
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

  3. Well, I wasn't going to decorate for Halloween this year - only for Fall - but you have inspired me, so it's up to the attic to haul down the bins. I wish I had one tenth of your enthusiasm and creativity when it comes to seasonal and holiday decorating - your home always looks AMAZING!!!!
