Even though this blog looks like my old one, Debbie-Dabble, "Debbie-Dabble Blog" is my new Blog that I created on June 23, 2016, after my old one was hacked through my Debbie-Dabble Face Book Page which I have now deleted!!

I am a Victorian Soul, live in a small townhouse that was built in the middle 70's, not a huge Mega Mansion, with my Hubby Joe. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before it closed in November of 2018 and have been a nurse for almost 41 years, with most of that time being full time!!! I recently had my knee replacement surgery done after putting it off for 6 years... I am NOW officially retired!!!!!

George Eliot was actually a pen name for a woman named Mary Anne Evans......

Evening Fall Front Porch, 2017

Today, I will be sharing how our Front Porch looks all lit up in the evening!!!

In a previous post, I showed you how I decorated the Front Porch for Fall.......
Click HERE if you missed that post.......

In the evening, the front porch takes on a slightly spookier look.......
With the orange lights and the lit Jack O Lanterns, it gives the porch more of a Halloween look rather than a Fall look........
When you walk up to the porch from the steps leading up from our parking lot to our row of townhouses.......
As you enter the front porch.......
You see the topiary that I made with a candle inside a lantern lit up.......
The lantern also has a candle inside of it and the Jack O Lantern has fairy lights inside of it.......
Looking at the front porch from the other side......
When you walk out of our front door and look out onto the front porch and yard.......
The railing is lit up with a set of orange LED lights......
There is also an orange light bulb in the front porch light adding to the orange glow.....
My new Jack O Lantern that I bought in Wegman's this year, is lit up with another set of fairy lights......
And I have added a set of orange LED lights to the lights that were already on the tree in the corner of the porch......
There is a candle in the Living Room window with an orange bulb in it......
It does take on a more spooky look at night, doesn't it???
The flower bed under the Living Room window.......
The solar lights help illuminate the flower bed......
This is the area where my park bench is.......
The lantern that is always there lights up this area......
I hope you enjoyed seeing our Front Porch lit up in the evening.....
Our lights are on a timer and come on and stay on from dusk to dawn......
I will be finally sharing the posts revealing some of the new Halloween decorations that I made for my Dining Room.......
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

  1. Love your porch! Girl, I need your energy! Hugs and blessings, Cindy

  2. Love your Halloween glow! Now that we've got a Wegman's, I;ll have to look for that Jack O'Lantern.

  3. Hi Debbie,
What a fun porch you have this year. The burlap bows are a nice touch and so beautifully tied. I wish you could come deck my porch out for all the kiddos in our neighborhood. I've hurt my foot badly and am struggling with getting up and down stairs so I think I'm going to have to skip all the festivities out there this year. It looks like you've added a few new things to your Halloween tree this year. Is it a Mr. Skelly at the top?

I love the old weathered book on your hutch too. You're making me feel like I need to make something new to add to my very small collection of Halloween decor. Several years ago, I gave away everything that I no longer used. Sometimes I regret that decision. In my mind I thought I'd clear out the things I didn't have an attachment to so that I'd have room for things I loved. I'm still looking for treasures and am thinking it will require me making them.

Thank you so much for sharing with us at Hauntingly Beautiful Decor link party.

  4. Your Halloween glow is stunning
    Hugs Alessandra

  5. Debbie your porch is simply spooktacular! I love the lighting. I could use a bit of that on my porch. You are so festive. I love that!

  6. Debbie I am so glad you are sharing these festive posts at the Hauntingly Beautiful Decor Halloween Link Party!
I love the Halloween "feeling" in these photos. My favorite is your Halloween tree! Thanks again! Hope to see you soon!

  7. Debbie you are absolutely amazing. I love the decoration of your front porch. It is so spooky in the night! And the halloween decoration of your dining room is wonderful. I love the beautiful halloween tree! Kisses, my friend.

  8. I love how festive your porch looks with all of the lights! Thanks for sharing @Vintage Charm!

  9. I love it! It's very Halloweeny. I grew up in the town next to Salem, MA and now live just two towns away. We take Halloween pretty seriously around here. I have to admit it's not my favorite holiday even though I just adore fall. Your porch looks so pretty. I love the way you lit the jack-o-lanterns with fairy lights.

  10. Great job on the porch. It shows that you worked really hard on it. Visiting from #HomeMattersParty

  11. Oh wow Debbie, it looks so pretty all lite up at night time :) Thanks for sharing at Creative Mondays, hope to see you on Wednesday for our next blog hop :)

  12. Debbie, Can I borrow you and your decorating talents to makeover my porch into this show stopper?!! Really looks fantastic! Pinned!

  13. Halloween in all his grace!!! Your porch looks fantastic specially at night! It is like a scene from a movie! You did excellent job once more :)

  14. Your evening porch is amazing. Thank you for sharing at Snickerdoodle.
