St. Patrick's Day China Cupboard, Part 2, 2017

Welcome!!!

The other day we had a low temp. of 5 degrees so Winter is still with us here in NEPA........

In my last post, I shared how I decorated the china cupboard in the Den for St. Patrick's Day.....
I showed you how I decorated the inside of the china cupboard......
In this post, I am going to share how I decorated underneath the china cupboard.....
But first, I want to Thank Michael, over at Rattlebridge Farm, for featuring my post, Victoria on PBS, from last week's Foodie Friday and Everything Else Party!!
Thanks so much, Michael!!

I also want to Thank Julie, over at Julie's Creative Lifestyle, for featuring my post,  A Year Round Fairy Garden, from last week's Cooking and Crafting with J and J Linky Party!!

Thanks so much , Julie and her co host Jessica, over at Plucky's Second Thought!!!

Please stop by and link up to this great parties!!

Back to the area underneath and around the china cupboard........
Over on the left, sitting on a small table, is a cute Bear in Irish garb.......
A Shamrock plaque bought at Dollar Tree and a vintage post card rests on the table next to the Bear.......
On top of 2 vintage suitcases stacked on top of each other......
Again, I used dishes in the Old Curiosity Shop pattern..........
They remind me of an Irish village.......
A cute bear in a shamrock sweater and a green depression glass cake plate......
 Another vintage postcard.......

Over on the other side........
A green depression glass bowl and a St. Patrick's Day card.......
Another cute Bear sits on a chair underneath the small table......
I covered the chair with a St. Patrick's Day dish towel.......
On the bottom suitcase........
More vintage postcards and St. Patrick's Day items......
And that is how I decorated underneath the china cupboard for St. Patrick's Day.........
After St. Patrick's Day, I will change over the china cupboard using my red and blue transferware dishes........
This is how it looked last year........

I do have a cute St. Patrick's Day plaque that I bought for 25 cents at a yard sale hanging on the back door..........
And in my next post, I will be sharing my St. Patrick's Day Tree in the Den......
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie

  1. Loving your Saint Patrick's day decor Debbie. And that antique suitcase for me is stealing the show next to all that gorgeous color.

  4. Such beautiful green... and it is no wonder that it all originated in Ireland where the green landscape is so rich. You've depicted that perfectly with your displays!

I went and linked up myself so I'm not sure what was wrong with the link up when you saw it. Try it again when you get a chance. If still isn't working for you please let me know. Thanks so much, Debbie!
