I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Fall/Halloween in the Kitchen and Powder Room

Today I am going to share how I decorated the Kitchen and Powder Room for Fall with a touch of Halloween!

We'll start in the Kitchen........
I like to decorate the desk area of the Hutch for every Season and Holiday........
I have decorated it for Fall with a touch of Halloween.........
On the left side.......
A Fall floral arrangement in a Fall cookie recipe box.......
Alomg with a pumpkin ceramic cookie that I bought at Gabes last year.....
In the center is a Fall Leaf plate.......
Several apothecary jars filled with Halloween candy .....
Goudes, lollipops, ghosts and Halloween tea light holders scattered about with leaf paper doilies......
A mason jar painted for Autumn  and filled with Fall florals......
And a cute pumpkin with painted flowers......
My milk glass lamp fits right in......
I have to show you my pretty October calendar in the Kitchen........
On the right side of the hutch.......
I am not good at chalkboard art so "Happy Autumn" is going to be as good as it gets....
A tin pocket filled with Fall flowers........

Over by the stove, I just added a bush of orange flowers to the existing leaves in the crock.....
I crocheted some of the magnets the I added to the range hood many years ago!!
Halloween dish towels.......
Above the sink where the window once was.....
I hung a few Halloween ornaments from the chandy.......
On the sill.......
I added an Autumn crackle glass candle holder and 2 colored leaf bottles to the existing decor.....
The crackle glass look great with a set of fairy lights inside of it!
On top of the refrigerator......
A bit of Fall and Halloween.......
And you may remember the sign that I bought a Dollar Tree a few weeks ago......
I have to share my Cynthia Hart Victorian Calendar that I have in the Den.......
What a great graphic, don't you think?????
And now, I want to show you what I added to the Powder Room for the Season......
I embellished this half pumpkin last year......
I hung a Halloween chandy ornament from the knob on the medicine cabinet.......
A pink glittered pumpkin that I bought at Jo Ann Fabrics last year.....
With pink velvet leaves underneath it!!
And on top of the commode.......
Pink pumpkins that I made several years ago with a ceramic white pumpkin from Dollar Tree that I glued to a painted white candle stick.....
And more pink velvet leaves......

On the shelf......
2 Halloween Snow Buddies.......
They are a hint of what is to come for Christmas.......
When I decorate the entire Powder Room with Snow Buddies......
A Halloween wreath that I made hangs on the door......
In my next post, I will show you how the outside of our house looks lit up in the evening......
So I hope you will be back to visit soon!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

  14. Stopping by from the Simply Saturday Blog Hop. With so much loveliness everywhere, how do you keep up with the dusting?

Where do you store all of your beautiful decor? I have trouble with the one bin I have of fall decor and the six or seven I have with Christmas decor.
