I am a Victorian Soul, live in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion, with my Hubby Joe, who is a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am LOVING Retirement!!!!

Glimpses of the Powder Room, 2016

Every year, I share how our Powder Room looks after all the Winter and Christmas Snow Buddies have been packed away and this year is no different!!

First, I would like to Thank Karren, Over at My Heartsie Girl, for featuring my post,

As you can see , I did use a lot of vintage items and jewelry through out the room......

It will now stay this way until November when it will once again look like this for Christmas.......
 And for Valentine's Day and Winter!!
I finally packed all of my Easter decorations away!!

Since Easter was so early, I wanted to leave them up a while longer to enjoy them......

I must say that I am glad that finally all those Holidays are over with and I did manage to decorate for every one this year.

I also cleaned out some decorations, gave some away and repacked everything so it will be easier for me to decorate next year.

I will be decorating the Living Room for the Patriotic Holidays of the Summer, with those decorations staying up for Memorial Day and the 4th of July.

Before I start to decorate for the Fall, we will be undergoing another remodeling project which will involve the Living Room, and the 3 bedrooms!!!

Once again, we will be having replacement windows installed..........for the 2ND TIME!!!!

Yes, my "new" replacement windows will be 30 years old so it is time to replace them.......AGAIN!!!

With Joe retiring at the end of September, we thought we would do it then........

And maybe do new flooring in the Den next Spring/Summer.....

I DO have a lot of painting projects that I want to do this Summer........

So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!
