I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

More of Country Folk Store

I can't believe that it is November!!

Where did this year go???????

Today, I am sharing the rest of the photos that I took when we visited the amazing Home Decor Shop called Country Folk, which is nestled in a valley between the mountains in Nescopeck, Pa., a 20 minute drive from our home......

As I have mentioned before, Country Folk is a 3 story Barn.......

And they also have a Display House!!

The display house was closed when we visited in October because Christmas decorating had already started......

Now I want to show you the rest of the amazing displays that we saw.......

And I want to introduce you to this sweet boy!!!!!

This is Joe's Great Niece's dog, Walter!!!!

He is the sweetest pup!!

He is 1 year old and we met him at Joe's parent's house.......

Sweet mother!! Look at this face!!!

Walter!!! I think the name fits him, don't you?????

We hope to go back to visit Country Folk after they reopen next week....

They were closed for 2 weeks so they could decorate for Christmas and I am sure they will not disappoint because their Christmas displays are amazing!!!!

New Fall/Halloween Treasures

I wanted to share with you some last minute Fall and Halloween Buys!!

But first, I want to Thank Jes, over at Strangers and Pilgrims on Earth, for featuring my post,

But first, I want to show you what I bought at the Auxiliary hosted Thrift Shop where I work.

This lovely platter........

And this matching vegetable bowl were only $1.50 each!!

And this copper leaf , which looks perfect in my kitchen , was only 50 cents each!!

When we went to Gabes about a week ago, I found these ornaments in the Christmas section and I added them to my Living Room Autumn Tree ........

A Bird......

A Burlap Squirrel......

And a Fox......

They were only $2.99 each.......

Michael's has marked down all their Fall and Halloween merchandise to 70 % off and I had a coupon for an additional 20 % off all sales........

I bought this black Halloween Tree for under $5.00...

It was originally $19.99!!

I love the way it looks in this vignette on top of my Dining Room hutch!!

And I picked up these 2 little houses at The Dollar Tree and added them to my Halloween Village.....

They were all that they had left.......

I also bought this sign at Dollar Tree........

And I found the perfect place for it, hanging right above my Potion Table!!

Also in Michael's for 70 % off plus an additional 20% off......

I bought these 2 leaf ornaments which cost less than $2.00 each......

Here is what they look like on my Autumn Tree......

I think I may glitter them up a bit with some gold glitter.......

I bought these bones which came out to 89 cents each!!

Now is the time to pick up great deals for Fall and Halloween decorating for next year......

Joe was in Target this morning ( the day after Halloween) and bought these things for 50% off.......

Have I mentioned before how much Joe likes to shop????????

These bones were only $1.00 each!!

I placed the skeleton foot here......

Edison light with blood drips!!

Priced down to $7.50....I may use these on my Halloween Tree next year.....

And a box of 6 skulls, 3 different kind with gold,orange and silver webbing on each......

6 for $3.00!!

I will most likely add a ribbon and make them into ornaments.......

Now is the time to get out there and scope out the Clearance sales after Halloween and add to your Fall/Halloween decor for next year.......
