Bunny Land at Nelson Crest

 Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

I want to mention that since Blogger changed to a new format for posting, if you can click on each picture if you care to enlarge it......

Today, I will be sharing my last post showcasing my Easter decorations for this Season.....

But first, I just have to share these photos of our little Grand Pup Faye in her large play pen which is where Jim and Danielle put her when they exercise and eat.....

Have I mentioned that they have a treadmill, bike, weight bench and one other piece of exercise equipment that I have no idea what it is or what it is for in their Living Room?????

LOL!!!

I say nothing and ask no questions because it truly is NONE OF MY BUSINESS!!!

They have a little bed in the play pen and they also put her bin of toys in for her ...

She elected to lay in her bin of toys rather than her bed....

She then fell asleep with her head buried in the corner of the toy bin!!!!!

LOL!!!!

I can not tell you how much JOY this little 7 pound ball of fluff has brought to our entire family!!!!!!

Saturday was a fairly nice but very windy day and Sunday was a windy and rainy day.....

I took advantage of the time and hauled down the tubs from the attic to pack away Christmas from the Master Bedroom, Hall and upstairs Bathroom.....

Yes, I still had Christmas up in the upstairs!!!!!

My Photo Organizing Project and cleaning out my Craft room took precedence over packing away Christmas upstairs.....

I have learned that I have to do things when I feel like doing them in order to get them done so that is what I do and I did knock off those 2 huge projects from my 2-3 Year To Do List......

I did pack away Christmas in the Master Bedroom and in the upstairs Bathroom, returning it to "normal".....

And I did the same in the upstairs Hall which is where I display my Collection of Lusterware dishes.....

I replaced all the gold bows with bows I made from 2 different types of music note ribbon......

I left the gold Butterfly ornaments that Joe bought for $1.00 a pack on Clearance after Christmas one year, on the branch "Tree" that stays up year round......

It is lit with battery operated Fairy Lights.....

I will be changing over the Craft room this week and putting the Sitting Room change over on hold until after Easter.......

I also want to share a few pictures that I took from our back yard after the rain stopped on Sunday and the Sun was trying to peak out before it set.....

By the end of April, the Sun will swing around to the front of our home and I will be able to once again watch the Sunsets from our front porch and the front yard will get some Sun!!!

I decorated the outside of Nelson Crest for Easter.....

The Bunnies are frolicking in Bunny Land.....

The side yard on the left.....

The bushes have already started to bloom!!!

 The upstairs balcony....

Flower pots on the railing....

 The front yard......

All the Bunny items are from Michael's and were part of my Lemax Easter Village which I passed on a few years ago to family members.....

The front porch......

The right side yard.....

I hope you enjoyed seeing Bunny Land at Nelson Crest !!!

Nelson Crest is also on my 2-3 Year To Do List for a sprucing up...

She is now 13 years old and her paint job needs a bit of re-touching...

Luckily, I saved the paint chips for the colors I chose for her exterior...

Now whether I will get to this project this year will remain to be seen which is why I call my To Do List a 2-3 Year To Do List.....

I stopped working over 2 years ago and there is still a LOT of things on that list......

And amazingly, Joe can not find one single thing to do........

I also want to share a few more Easter things.....

In the downstairs hall between the coat closet and the Powder Room.....

A wreath that I made......

A Dollar Tree Cross in the center of the wreath.....

Underneath the wreath hangs a macrame' cross that my Mother gifted me a very long time ago.....

And beneath that hangs an Easter Bunny, also gifted to me by my Mother.....

And that completes my Easter decorations for this Season......

I hope you will join me when I share my Spring/Easter Home Tour 2021 in my next post....

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  3. Ok...Bunnyland at Nelson Crest is just the cutest thing ever! The detail is amazing. I had the Lemax Easter village until a few years ago also. I have a dollhouse out in my shed that is a wooden lighthouse. There is so much repair that needs to be done yet I keep putting it off. I think you might have inspired me to get it out and put it back together though for the summer months. It's been stored in the shed for so long that I can;t remember what all needs repairs. Your Mother's cross is gorgeous! It's so special to have something like that! I wish you and your family a beautiful Easter!

  6. Your family sure does enjoy that little one! So much fun and she is spoiled rotten! I am disappointed my granddaughter is not here right now. She loves to see the decorations on your dollhouse. I can't wait until little people keep their fingers out of mine and I can do some sprucing up too!

  7. Sweet little doggy. Definitely knows that that bin of toys are hers. Such a sweetie. I love your dollhouse. I don't guess I am going to get one but thinking I could take one that I have here for the girls and decorate it with them.
Love your wreath and that beautiful cross your Mother gave you. Very unique. I am not feeling the energy lately to get much of anything done. You need to send me some of yours. I cleaned the porch real well Saturday, went out this evening after children left and I have magic sand residue it seems every where. Oh well, I took a look and took a seat with a cup of coffee.
