Winter China Cupboard- Changing Out Christmas Decor, 2017

I like to decorate our Den for Winter...........

Today, I will be sharing how I changed over the china cupboard from Christmas to Winter , leaving some of the Christmas decorations in place.......

This is what the top of the china cupboard looked liked decorated for Christmas......
And this is how I decorated the inside and around the bottom for Christmas.......
This is how it looks now, decorated for Winter.......
Let's start with the top of the china cupboard.......
Again, this is how it looked decorated for Christmas........
The angel, the church and the lighted Tree were kept ........
And I added some of my Winter Decor .....
I added some snowflakes to the tree........
A framed Thomas Kinkade Winter scene on a post card.......
A Winter bird.........
An Avon tea pot and pitcher with a Winter Scene......
Another Winter bird........
And another Thomas Kinkade framed postcard.......
This is how the china cupboard looked for Christmas.......
And again, this is how it looks decorated for Winter......
I pretty much kept the inside of the cabinet the same........
I hung some crocheted snowflakes from the lace doilies.......
I did take out the Christmas plates from the middle shelf........
And replaced them with blue transfers ware plates.......
This is how this side looked for Christmas......
And now for Winter.......
Winter Jingle bells......
I replaced the feather tree with this LED lighted white glitter tree........
And hung some snowflakes on it.......
A Winter vignette on the table........
Again, at Christmas.....
And now for Winter.......
This is how the other side looked at Christmas.......
And now for Winter.....
A wreath, snowflakes and skates.......
This house was packed away......
And this deer cloche was moved over here on the pedestal.....
This is how I decorated underneath the china cupboard for Christmas.......
And now for Winter.......
I simply added a bunch of Snowmen..........
I kept most of the things that were used for Christmas decorating.......
Again, at Christmas.......
And now for Winter.......
Christmas......
Winter......
From the side........
At Christmas.......
 And now for Winter........
Another snowman.........
By keeping out some of my Christmas decorations, adding a few Winter things to it, I totally changed the look of the China Cupboard in the Den from Christmas to Winter........
Without too much effort......

I have a lot more Winter Decorations in the Den to share.........

But first, I want to show you the Outside of our house decorated for Winter.......
I finally was able to convert the outside over to Winter decorations because first ,we had temps. not getting above the 20's and then when it finally warmed up, we had rain.......

When I was able to get outside and work on the front of the house, I just got it finished and it started to snow!!!!!!!
Which was perfect for taking pictures of the outside Winter decorations!!!

I will be showing you the front of our house decorated for Winter in my next post..........

And will also be sharing this new Winter Wreath that I made for the front door.............
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie

  5. It must take you quite some time to take down all the Christmas decorations. It's a great idea to keep some on as winter decorations and they certainly look lovely.
