I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Halloween Crafts

I have been doing some Halloween crafting......

In my previous post, I shared how I dabbled with some pumpkins for Halloween.......
I have done a bit more Halloween crafting......

I made some Halloween Tussie Mussies........
And filled them with some Fall Flowers......
Another one.....
This one was gifted to me but I added some black lace and pumpkin trim to the top and bottom of it........
I bought this" screen door" at a yard sale for $1.00 several years ago and thought it would work well for creating some  Halloween Art..........
I glued 2 foam ghosts, that I outlined with silver glitter, behind the door....
Glued a skeleton and a few silver bats to the front of the door......
Added a bow made out of silver and black ribbon.......

Glued 2 skeleton cameos and outlined the door in silver glitter.......
Then I decided to add some pumpkin trim that I had in my stash for a pop of orange....
It stands out a bit better, don't you think????
I spray painted a gold Home Interiors birdcage black.......
Made a bow for the top ........
Placed it on a silver tray, fastened a crow to the door and a white glittered skull head inside the cage.....
I also painted some peat pots.......
Added some trim and filled them with candy corn.....
Over the years, I have also made my own potion bottles by using jars from gravy, etc and using Modge Podge to attach Spooky Labels........
I embellished a Witches Hat for my spooky pumpkin by gluing on some garland.......
Adding a bow and a crow!!

I painted the face on the pumpkin several years ago......

A few posts ago, I showed you this sign that I bought for $1.99..........
I simply added some trim to the top and sides......

I have also painted wooden candlesticks and glued things like a black skull and a spooky votive cup to the top.........
I also glued a Spider Web holder for a candle jar on top of a candlestick and placed a flameless candle on a Timer inside of it.......
In my next post, I will be sharing our Dining Room decorated for Halloween.........
I  hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
