I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Autumn Harvest Village, 2017

 Welcome!!

In this post, I will be showing you my Harvest Village.......

But first, I want to Thank Laurie, over at My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies, for choosing my post, Fall Garden Update, as one of the last features for the Brag About It Link Party!!
Thanks so much, Laurie!!

Laurie and Beverly will no longer be hosting the Brag About It Party and will only be hosting the Snickerdoodle Create-Bake-Make Party anymore!!!

My Harvest Village is my one remaining Village, other than my Christmas Village, after I gifted my Easter Village to one niece and my Halloween Village to another niece......
I set up my Harvest Village on top of our TV Entertainment Center in the Living Room.......

I bought some of the houses many years ago in JoAnn Fabrics and only a few years ago, found more at The Christmas Tree Shop......

Let's take a look here on the left side first.......
I used my gold glitter LED lit branch Trees on each side........
Also on each side are my candle votives that I made from Dollar Tree vases and candle holders with a cemetery candle inside of them.......
You can see I added some leaves inside of them......

The Autumn trees were bought at Michael's and are from  Lemax's Spooky Village Collection......
The larger Tree in the center was bought at The Christmas Tree Shop......

All the houses have lighted areas inside them......
I bought the hay bales on Clearance this year at Michael's. It was part of their Fairy Garden Collection.....
I am going to let the pictures do the talking......

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Harvest Village.......
In a future post, I will be sharing how the Village looks in the evening all lit up........

In my next post, I will be sharing this corner of the Living Room and how I decorated my LED Branch Tree for Fall.........
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

  2. Oh my goodness - I had to go through the photos three times and still I'm sure I missed some pretties. You are so clever with the little additions you make. Love love love the hay bales - and the trees - and everything. What a clever display and can't wait to see the next thing you do.

  8. I love the way you've "staged" your little Autumn village Debbie. So clever to add some height in the back, it really does look like the homes are built up on a little hill and you get the best view of the details in each one. So pretty

  9. Love your autumn village. The trees are awesome. Fall is my favorite season next to spring. Now I'm going to have start looking for autumn houses top put on my fireplace mantel.
