I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Winter Hutch in the Kitchen, Part 1, 2017

Welcome!!

Today, I am going to show you how I changed up the Hutch in the Kitchen for Winter.......
In my last post, I shared my Winter Bird Tree in the Kitchen, which you see on the side of the Hutch......
If you missed that post, please click HERE......

You may remember a while ago, I showed you the dishes that Joe bought on Clearance in Wegman's after Christmas.......
The pattern is called Holiday Harlequin......
Click HERE if you wold like to see that post...........

I decided to use them as part of my Winter decorations in the Kitchen......
I thought the dishes would look good on the shelves in the top half of the Hutch.....
After Christmas, I replaced some of the things that I normally have in the Hutch.....
With the dishes that Joe bought......

I am going to let the pictures do the talking......
  Top shelf.......
  Bottom shelf.....
In my next post, I will be sharing how I decorated the bottom half of the Hutch.....
So I hope you will come by and visit  again!!

And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE  give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment.  If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Hugs,
Debbie

  9. I love the graphic nature of the new dishes! I also have a lot of those older cookie cutters, I used to keep them on display. Over time I have gone with less out, I am allergic to dust and the more out the more I have to clean. Your hutch display has so much to take in. Feels very cozy, warm and inviting.
