Today, I will be sharing some of the Autumn vignettes in our Living Room......
I decorate the Living Room in an Elegant Autumn theme and I have been working hard changing things over from Summer to Fall......
In this post, I will show you how I did it....
But first, I want to Thank Robin, over at Fluster Buster, for featuring my post, Early Fall Garden Update, from last week's Creative Muster Party (Great Ideas)!
Thanks so much, Robin!!!
Please stop by and link up to this great party!!!!!
In this post, I will be showing you how different areas of the Living Room looked in the Summer, decorated with lace and aqua accents and now, how it looks not only decorated for Fall, but for Winter too!!!
The aqua and lace have been changed out with Autumn colors and gold linens..........
I will start my little Tour here at the Hutch by the front door..........
This is how it looked in the Summer.......
You can see the aqua accents.........
Here it is decorated for Autumn.....
On each side of the hutch are sconces and a shelf........
This was Summer......
This is Autumn......
I changed out the aqua candles in the votives and decorated the shelf with pumpkins I made out of toilet paper rolls a few years ago.......
I also added Autumn florals......
The top of the Hutch.......
The lace runner for the Summer was replaced with a gold chenille runner that I bought in Target many years ago........
A few pumpkins and an Autumn plate.......
More Autumn florals in the center......
Crystal candle holders with copper colored candles and an Autumn candle ring.......
The gold and copper shiny pumpkins were bought at Dollar Tree, along with the orange glittered pumpkins........
Inside the Hutch......
For Summer.......
Now for Autumn.......
Pumpkins, gourde and pumpkin tea lights, and a few gold ball ornaments have replaced most of the aqua accents........
This is the sconce and shelf on the other side of the Hutch......
Over by the Dining Room........
I have decorated the stereo stand for Autumn......
The top of the vintage style stereo looked like this in the Summer.......
I switched the lamp for another one for more light in the upcoming Winter months........
For Autumn.......
Peach lace doilies were replaced with ivory ones......
An owl, pumpkins, a leaf votive and a bottle among florals give it an Autumn feel.........
A tea cup and saucer in Autumn colors and an orange glittered pumpkin bought at Dollar Tree......
I added a few Autumn accents.....
Pumpkins that were bought over the years at Dollar Tree.......
An Autumn Welcome bucket with a floral arrangement that I made.......
A pumpkin that I embellished and a wagon with another arrangement that I did inside of it......
I changed out the peach lace curtains that hung as a divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room with what were originally white lace curtains that I tea dyed......
Over on the other side........
A large round table.........
For the Summer, you can see the peach lace curtains and peach lace linens with aqua accents.......
The lace linens were replaced with a gold topper that matches the gold runner on the Hutch......
Florals......
A mosaic hurricane votive.......
A leaf votive .......
A leaf plate and orange charger.......
All create an Autumn vignette on this table......
The cherub sconce on the wall looked like this for Summer......
And now for Autumn......
This is how the fake window in the Living Room looks now........
This is how it looked in the Summer with peach lace curtains........
And now for Autumn, I have changed out the lace curtains with my Winter taupe drapes that match the sofa..........
The sconce on the other side of the fake window......
This is what the Living Room window looks like now.........
I took this photo right before I moved the white Tree, which was decorated in my "Under the Sea" theme for the Summer, upstairs into the Sitting Room......
The peach lace curtains were replaced with these taupe drapes and an ivory lace curtain for the Winter.....
You can see the I have my Autumn Tree decorated in the corner but that will be featured in my next post!!
Next to the window and TV entertainment center is this vintage 3 tiered table.........
This is where I moved the lamp from the stereo table to......
This is how it looked in the Summer.......
I changed out the peach lace doilies on each shelf for ivory ones........
You may remember that I bought this owl at Marshall's this year.....
More pumpkins from Dollar Tree and florals..............
An Autumn Tea for One set and an orange ea cup and saucer.......
A pumpkin that I embellished.........
The lower shelves.......
The middle shelf.....
The scarecrow and owl were bought at Dollar Tree........
The bottom shelf.....
A bowl filled with faux glittered gourdes, flanked by gold and copper candle holders......
Over on the other side of the TV entertainment center.......
A small round table.......
This is how it looked for Summer........
The peach lace topper was changed out for a round gold chenille table cloth.......
A faux gourde under a glass dome......
Dollar Tree pumpkins........
The squirrel was also bought at Dollar Tree........
And Autumn florals and a candle ring......
On the left side of the front door is a marble topped plant stand......
The bottom of the large glass candle holder is filled with Autumn fillers and leaves......
And is flanked by Dollar Tree pumpkins.....
The large apothecary jar is filled with Autumn fillers......
Topped with a bow made of Autumn ribbon and a candle ring around the bottom of the jar.......
The peach lace curtains on the front door have been replaced with a taupe venice lace curtain and a valance that matches the taupe drapes used throughout the Living Room ............
I have also changed out the pillows for pillows I made last year out of the gold chenille fabric.......
I made a pillow last year out of a counted cross stitch piece that I made close to 40 years ago.......
I did the same with this piece......
You can see that by changing the color of accents and linens and drapes, you can change the whole feel of a room.
The drapes and gold linens will remain in the Living Room until Winter is over and it is time to decorate for Easter and Summer.............
In upcoming posts. I will be sharing this corner of the Living Room.........
And my Autumn Village set up on the top of the TV entertainment center.......
In my next post, I will be sharing my Living Room Autumn Tree.......
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday, Debbie. Thank you for joining, and for always making Pink Saturdays special.♥
ReplyDeleteYou have so many beautiful things, and everyone enjoyed them. This post is being featured on my Pink Saturday post this week as "the one with the most clicks".
I enjoyed pouring over the pictures, and finding delightful treasures - like the Gone With the Wind book, and amber owl. I have a thing for white ceramic owls this year. The hutch is magnificent. I may have drooled on my keyboard staring at it! Angels to you, Deb!
ReplyDeleteCongrats Debbie! Your post is FEATURED at the #WednesdayAIMLinkParty! We are reviving this party from October 4, 2017, yes that’s correct, not a typo. Starts at 9pm central tonight (Wednesday the 5th) and there is a giveaway too!
