Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

It is crazy to think that this is the last day of JUNE!!!
And the 4th of July is Friday!!!
And as my Mother would always say after the July 4th Holiday, Summer is now over!!
Even though we always took our annual Summer vacation to the Jersey Shore in August because that was when she had a week off due to a factory shut down in the Garment Industry, in which she worked from the age of 16 to 67 years old....
I would be thrilled if Summer would be over after July 4th!!
I am so ready for Fall!!!
Happy July 4th Week!!!
I only decorate the outside for the Summer....
The left side yard.....
Many years ago, I made the banners out of red, white and blue striped crepe paper.....
The mini flags are cupcake decorations.....
The balcony off the Master Bedroom.....
The left side of the front yard....
My FB friend Annette gifted me the sweet Fairies and the flower bird bath.....
The front porch.....
The right side of the front yard....
I hope you enjoyed seeing Nelson Crest all decked out in her Patriotic finery.....
She will stay like this until the end of the September when I decorate her for Halloween!!
I do have some decorations in the downstairs hallway and since it is such a narrow one, I apologize for the poor lighting....
I took a picture from a Thomas Kinkade calendar and framed it.....
And hung a few things on the mirror.....
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

I love your doll house decorated so patriotically.
ReplyDeleteNelson Crest is SO charming! I love all the details you've added and I'm so impressed that you made so many of the patriotic decorations yourself! What a brilliant idea to use cupcake liners for the bunting! Your mom's comment that "Now summer is over" once the 4th of July passed reminds me of how I felt each year when teaching... the countdown was certainly on! Happy 4th of July, Deb!
ReplyDeleteI love fall best but I'm afraid we have at least two more months of summer here. Your doll house is magnificent. So many clever ways to create the decorations. My granddaughters are into making mini things for their Barbies. Mini food, mini makeup, mini furniture. Great fun.
ReplyDeleteThat patriotic doll house is so cute. What a fun idea to decorate for a holiday in miniature! :) Visiting from the Talking About it Tuesdays linkup.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, whenever I see your pretty dollhouse I get the urge to dig mine out and start working on it. You do such a great job with all the tiny details. Maybe one day I'll get around to it and I'll be using your pretty house as inspiration!! Happy 4th my friend!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely all decked out for the holiday, so festive and cheery! Happy Fourth!
ReplyDeleteHi Deb! Nelson Crest is so festive! I too love fall but the year is passing quickly and it will be here before we know it!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Barb
Nelson's Crest looks fabulous all decorated for the 4th; as does your home!
