I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

Winter in NEPA!!

It seems like every time we get snow, we have a warm up and rain and the snow is gone and then more snow falls......

On Thursday, A Nor'Easter, as they are called in this neck of the woods, hit the East Coast of the U.S.

I do love Winter, always have and I do love snow........

It looks so pretty falling......
 It was still snowing at 5:30 am when these pictures were taken......

So pretty.......
Poor Joe, shoveling before he headed out to work to deliver the mail......
I could not resist putting the lights on....

I was home because I had a bit of a mishap the morning before and tripped up the steps to our house and landed on my bed knee.

It swelled quite a bit so I had it packed in ice and stayed off it as much as possible for a day or two.

As day break nears........
When it was all said and done we got 6 inches!!
I might also mention that it was 3 degrees outside!!!

3 degrees!!!!!!!

 It got up to a high of 10 degrees.......

 I won't be taking down the Christmas decorations and switching to Winter decorations for awhile.....

So how does one dress for 3 degrees outside?????

Sounds like a good day for some soup!!
 Soup made from the turkey bones from Christmas Dinner......
 I do love Winter........

Temps. are supposed to rise into the 30's on Sunday with sleet and freezing rain......

That is what Winter is like in North East Pa!!!

Tour of Anne Marie's Bedroom........


 This past weekend, Joe and I visited our good friends, Anne Marie and Tony.
