Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....

 A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS

I enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared how I decorated the hutch in the Dining Room in an Easter Village theme....

And the area to the side of it....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

I know I mentioned in my last post that I would be sharing the rest of the Dining Room decorated for Easter but I honestly forgot that this post would be the last post in March....

So instead, I am sharing my Quarterly Goals and Possibilities List for Spring or the 2nd Quarter of the Year....

Before I go any further, I just want to mention that Saturday, March 29th was the 21st anniversary of my Mother's passing....

We did not always get along but we made amends at the end and now that I am a widow, I have to say that I am actually looking to how she handled her life after my Dad passed away when they were both only 67 years old...

I have a new respect for her now that I am older and dealing with everything that she had to deal with as a widow....

I am once again linking up to a Linky Party hosted by these fellow Bloggers who decided to do posts  on Quarterly Goals and Bucket Lists instead of yearly ones...

I saw the initial post on Marsha's Blog, Marsha in the Middle, in January and I was intrigued!!

This was the brain child of Leslie, over at Once Upon a Time & Happily Ever After

Each Blogger involved will do a blog post about what those Goals and items on their Bucket Lists are quarterly, doing a follow up to those posts, along with hosting a party for everyone else to join in on....

I thought this was a great idea because I think listing Goals that you want to accomplish in a certain smaller period of time is a lot easier and more doable...

My Goals are more of a To Do List for each Season....

And I do so love my To Do Lists....

But I have to admit that over the past few weeks, I have been lacking in making my daily To Do List and I can see that my accomplishments have suffered because of it...

I need to keep myself focused and my To Do Lists definitely help to keep me moving and on track so I am now back into making out a weekly list that includes a list for each day of the week...

Click HERE to read my post on my Winter/1st Quarterly Goals and Possibilities List

And you can read about how I did with my January and February Goals List HERE..

So how did I do in March.....

Well, it is a bit of a toss up....

Okay, I didn't do too badly in March....

I want to mention that my Word of the Year for 2025 is HOPE!

And as I approach the one year anniversary of my husband Joe's passing in a few weeks, I have definitely clung to the HOPE that this new life of mine without him will all work out and be a good one..

I know from past experience that the first year after the passing of a loved one is the hardest and I will be happy to have all those "first" holidays and special occasions over with as I had HOPED to replace them with new memories and traditions...

And I do HOPE that I can accomplish all these Goals in the next 3 months!!

 GOALS

Reorganize the Craft Room Closet

Go through the Storage Room again, deciding what I will not be using and reorganize it

Okay, maybe it may seem like there are a lot of things to accomplish on those monthly lists but there is a lot of Seasonal work that I need to do in April and May...

By June, things slow down and maybe I can even add a bit more to June's List...

We will see...

I have been drinking at least 64 oz. of water daily and sticking to my Wellness Program, including Intermittent Fasting, accept for getting back to walking so I am not listing it for this quarter as I feel I accomplished this Goal...

POSSIBILITIES

Christie, over at So What? Now What?, decided to call her Bucket List a Possibilities List and I loved that terminology so I am also going with a Possibilities List!!

If you would like to read the posts about their Spring Quarterly Goals Lists from the rest of the Hosts of this party that I have not previously provided links for, please click on the links below...

POSSIBILITIES LIST for 2025

This list is more of a year long list...

I have posted this quote before....

This in itself is a great Possibilities List

But I have been focusing on the last statement...

I HOPE to buy LESS...

Can't guarantee Buying Nothing

And I feel that for the 1st Quarter, I have done pretty well with this...

I have only bought what I really needed and bought almost NO decor items...

All of that falls in line with my new Financial Plan

I also listed that I HOPE to Make Something

Meaning that I want to craft something that I may have seen in the stores, using up some of my vast craft supplies...

I really have not had much time for crafting but I do realize that in the Summer is when I have extra time so I really want to do a lot of crafting to decrease my craft supplies in the Craft Room

I also HOPE to Shop my own House

I was inspired to do more of this by watching some You Tube Videos where decorators are doing this and using everyday items to decorate with..

And I am proud to say that I actually have been doing this in trying to incorporate every day things I have in my seasonal decorating instead of running out and buying something new!!

 More Possibilities....

Spend LESS time on Face book- need to work on this better

Spend MORE time reading Blog posts- doing better but still need to work on this

Respond to Blog comments quicker- again, need to work on this

Watch MORE You Tube decorating Videos- hardly got to watch any in March so I need to catch up

Listen to some Podcasts- NOPE, never started

Find time to read- NOPE, HOPE to do so soon and plan to schedule at least an hour a day to read

Reconnect with a few old friends and meet for lunch or invite over- crazy weather during the 1st quarter really prevented this from happening but HOPE to do so in the 2nd Quarter

Be in contact more, whether through messages, texts, phone calls or visits with more family members- working on that but again weather played quite a role in preventing that during the 1st Quarter

New Additions to my Possibilities List

Work on my Christmas Planner for all Holidays and Seasons - On going as I am turning this into a Holiday Planner and hope to use it year round and not just for Christmas

Being more Mindful of how I am spending my time and doing things with Intention...

 Because.....

And I do not want to waste any of my time!!

Well, there you have it!!

I do so HOPE that this Spring Quarter will be a good one and I can accomplish everything that I need and want to do....

I will admit that lately I have been feeling a bit disorganized and off center but I will again give myself Grace on that as we approach the one year anniversary of Joe's passing....

And I do HOPE to continue to....

And to

I  HOPE that you enjoyed reading this post today!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I packed away all of Winter/Valentine's in the Kitchen this week....

And decorated it for Easter!!

Truth be told, I have not done one single thing outside even though we have had several days of unseasonably high temps. here and there...

That is why my header on this Blog still shows the house decorated for Winter...

Because it is still decorated for Winter!!!

I hope to pack away and haul all of that decor down to my storage shed next week and decorate it for Easter, along with bringing the porch furniture from the back, where I stored it for the Winter, out to the front.....

I wanted to get the inside of the house decorated for Easter first before attacking the outside and I keep reminding myself that it is still March...

We can get snow into April and even into early May here in NEPA!!!!!!

Today, I am continuing my tour of the Dining Room decorated for Easter......

I will be sharing the hutch and the area around it....

I removed the red transferware dishes that I had displayed in the hutch for Christmas and for Winter....

Replacing it with a Bunny Village!!

But first, let's take a look at the top of the hutch....

The left side....

The bunny dish and Easter Caroler came from the Christmas Tree Shop!!

In the center is a floral arrangement I did inside of an Easter tin pocket along with 2 mini Victorian homes...

On the right side....

Inside the hutch......

Last year, I decided to move this Bunny Village from the Living Room into the Dining Room....

Again, like on the buffet, I used pieces of my pink depression glass collection....

The top shelf....

The Easter putz style houses were purchased several years ago at The Christmas Tree Shop!

Easter Egg plates from Tuesday Mornings are the back drop....

Middle shelf....

Easter bottle brush trees....

The bottom shelf.....

A lot of different bunnies and eggs......

On the right side of the hutch.....

Is the vintage window that I hung as a divider between the Dining Room and the Living Room.....

I like to hang signs on the window, which was an insert for a vintage door....

A Dollar Tree signs that I embellished....

A bunny butt plaque that I made.....

On the side of the hutch.....

On a pedestal that I topped off with a hat box, creating a small table....

My mother gifted me this macrame Easter basket over 40 years ago.....

This year, I placed a fiberoptic Bunny Tree that no longer worked inside of the basket....

I lit the tree and the handle of the basket with 2 fairy light sets.....

This is an Easter bunny that I bought in Dollar Tree and embellished 2 years ago......

Eggs and a set of bunny napkin rings bought in Gabes.....

On the side, is an Easter Bunny that originally sold in Hallmark stores that I bought at an estate sale for
$3.00!!

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I decorated this hutch for Easter this year....

In my next post on MONDAY, I will be continuing my tour of the Dining Room all decked out for Easter!!

Sharing my pink Easter Tree and the rest of the Dining Room.....

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY!!

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
