I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared how I decorated the top of my TV Entertainment Center like a "Mantel" for the Patriotic Summer Holidays!!

Along with the area in front of it!!

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

I want to Thank to Barb, over at French Ethereal, for choosing my post, Early Summer Kitchen, Roos/Hens and Bees, as one of her features from last week's Share My Style Link Party!!

 Thanks so much, Barb!!

Please stop by and link up your Blog posts to this lovely party!!

I was going to continue the tour of my Living Room decorated for the Patriotic Summer Holidays today but in starting the post, I realized that I have made a LOT of my Patriotic decorations ....

So I decided I would go back through old blog posts and share all of the Patriotic decorations that I made over many years.....

I will start with ornaments that I made or embellished to decorate my Patriotic Tree with.....

Bells....

Patriotic Angels....

From coasters from Veteran's organizaions....

Stars....

I embellished these ornaments with stickers...

Next up are plaques and signs....

I used cards that I got through the mail from one of the Veteran's organizations for these...

Vintage inspired.....

Firecrackers...

One that I bought at Michael's and embellished.....

And one I made and hung.....

My Patriotic Lady was bought at an estate sale...

 Floral arrangements....

A Patriotic Angel....

 Framed Patriotic music sheets....

Wreaths.....

Wreaths that I was commissioned to create for others....

And a basket arrangement....

An Amish star that I added to....

Birdhouses bought at Gabes that I embellished.....

A pillow I made from place mats....

And a flag that I made for the Den which I consider more Americana than Patriotic decor.....

I hope you gave you a bit of Patriotic crafting inspiration!

And I hope you will stop by to visit again on SATURDAY for my next post when I continue my tour of the Living Room decorated for the Patriotic Summer Holidays....

Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

  3. Hi Debbie - I'm always fascinated by the Americans and their love of their country - and how you celebrate it. Australians on the whole are more laid back and just like to have a party when Australia Day comes around. You've certainly curated quite a collection to celebrate the red, white and blue.

  10. Wow, you really have made so many patriotic crafts through the years. I've gotten away from crafting in the last several years and find that I'm starting to miss it.
