Welcome to my second edition of Saturday Snippets....
In my last post, I shared a Winter Woodland in my Den....
Click HERE if you missed that post!!
Today's edition of Saturday Snippets is all about SNOW!!
But first, I want to share a few personal Snippets....
My son Jim bought this blanket as an anniversary gift in November for his wife Danielle....
Jim said he does not like to set up a photo shoot but I think he did pretty good with this one!!
Our grand pups had their first Spa treatment from a new Groomer that comes to your home!!!
And here they are sleeping right by Danielle on the sofa while she is holding one of the Twins....
Jim is still on paternity leave and they are all bonding as a family and spending this time together with NO outside help so Mimi and G Pop are staying away and letting them have this time which they will not get to have again....
Plus Joe has a cough and I still have this sinus thing going on so we do not want to get the little ones sick.....
And now some SNOW Snippets on Saturday!!!!
I already shared how I changed over the Front Porch from Christmas to Winter in a previous post......
Last Sunday, we had a quick Snow Squall that moved through and in about 15 minutes, it dumped about an inch of snow.....
Just enough to dust everything lightly with snow!
And we got more yesterday......
And at Dawn.....
Looking out my front door!
Glad that I made a pot of Turkey soup from the turkey breast we had for Christmas Day Dinner....
And I will be enjoying a cup of Amaretto Hot Cocoa with an Amaretto Chocolate Bomb in it!!!
I hope you enjoyed seeing a few Snippets of life here in NEPA!!!
And I hope you will stop by to visit again as I will be continuing my Tour of the Den decorated for Winter on MONDAY, sharing my Winter Wonderland Tree.....
And the Winter Village underneath it....
The Thomas Kinkade Village....
A Wall Tree decorated with Owls....
How I changed over the China Cupboard from Christmas to Winter....
And my Winter Bird Tree!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
AND WARM!!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

That anniversary blanket is so special! It is wonderful that they have this time to bond with their new little family. So precious. I understand the staying away, you want the best for them. I actually contracted shingles when my youngest son's baby was a few month old and my youngest daughter's baby was a few weeks old. They were too young to have been vaccinated for chicken pox, so I couldn't go near them or have them visit. It was hard, but it was for the best. I would never forgive myself if they became sick.
ReplyDeleteWe haven't had more than a dusting until this week. And when it rains, it pours. We had a series of snow days with the kids and yesterday I think we got 8". I am so glad I am retired! The little lady puppies look marvelous after their spa day.
Hey Debbie,
ReplyDelete☃️Such beautiful pictures, both day and night! And you're right... snow makes everything so pretty! How I wish we would see a flake down here, but... however tonight it's supposed to get down to 22°.✨
As always the puppies look adorable. And those sweet little girls are so precious.💕
I hope you and Joe feel better real soon. That soup should be just what "the doctor ordered"!
Blessings, Linda

ReplyDeleteYou definitely got more snow than we did -- and it's quite lovely. I like your idea of "nature's flocking." Get well soon, if you aren't already!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty little dusting of snow! I think your son did a great job setting up his photo shoot too.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty with the snow - hopefully its all gone and not cold on your end at the moment.
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for participating and sharing at SSPS 294. See you again next week!
Snow is like frosting on a cake, makes everything pretty! Thanks for sharing with SSPS, we appreciate it.
ReplyDeleteYou always take such great pictures. I always enjoy seeing your decorating. AND the grands!!!! Can't wait to see them develop personalities as they grow. The pups are adorable, as always.
