ReplyDeleteHope it is warming up for you guys! We barely had a winter which means a blizzard in April! ha laura in Colorado
Sweet remembrances! Time flies, isn't it? What adorable post!Hugs!
ReplyDeleteI just loved your peek down memory lane. It's scary how fast time goes by, isn't it.
ReplyDeleteHi Deb. It is fun to see the old pictures. You have really changed your home over time. I like seeing the changes. It is always fun to stroll down memory lane. I love , love your St. Patrick decorations. Looks very pretty. As always you do a beautiful job of decorating.
ReplyDeleteSo wise of you to make time for a trip down memory lane!
ReplyDeleteI loved getting to see all of your old photos! Taking a trip down memory lane can be so much fun! My parents and I were recently looking at all of my baby photos, and we had a blast! I love all of the pet photos, we definitely have plenty of those over here at my house as well! I love your St. Patrick's day decor!
ReplyDeleteLove seeing your old photos Debbie. They bring back some of my memories of our townhouse from the early 80's. We also had the harvest gold appliances and dark cabinets. The wall telephone and shag carpet. We also took our son on some of the same trips as we live in Maryland. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteLynda,
DeleteThanks so much for taking the time to stop by and by letting me know that you did by leaving such a sweet comment!!i can't believe that we traveled so much back then but I am glad that we did as i can not travel now nor really want to... It was more fun when the boys were young....
Stay safe, healthy and happy!!
Hugs,
Deb
I love seeing photos from long ago, whether they are yours, mine or anyone else's. They speak of such history, changes of styles, all that. These are very fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful memories. What I noticed as I've been through the family photographs on both sides is the change in film over the years. There is a neat progression in film over the years from the old black and white pictures to the instant pics we have, to the interesting look of pictures from the 70's and early 80's that have almost a haze around them. I don't know the word I want but they don't have the crispness of today's pictures perhaps do to better lighting, flash, etc. I don't know but I LOVE looking at older pics because you get a different sense of time.
ReplyDeleteWow Debbie! What a lovely trip down memory lane. There's something about old pictures that I love. Maybe it's the memories associated with them. I love looking at old pictures and re-living all those beautiful memories. Priceless!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these at the #HomeMattersParty.
And I love how neatly you have organized all your photos.
Aw, what a blast from the past. I need to go through mine...sure can see how your 'taste' morphed...over the years. We started in a Victorian house, so I gathered my eclectic style immediately. Wonderful family photos! And not the boys are old men...same here! Hugs, Sandi
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your sweet memories at Vintage Charm!
