Thanks again, Bev!!!
Please stop by and link up to these lovely parties!!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
Joey treats us to dinner on Fridays and this Friday, it was pizza from Serpico's, one of our favorite places....
One plain pie....
And one meatball pizza......
It has been really cold here in NEPA this week.....
Single digits in the mornings.....
I took these pictures on Wednesday when it was 15 degrees and snowing when we went to take our grand pups out......
Thursday into Friday, we had more snow showers over night and another dusting of snow and single digit temps....
Unfortunately, The Nor'Easter on the eastern seaboard of the United States yesterday, did not come inland enough to give us any measurable snow.....
Yes, I said unfortunately, because I am still that little girl who loves Winter and being able to play outside in the snow even though I don't play in the snow anymore but I do still love it!!
And I hope I never lose that ......
So many peopple here in NEPA moan and groan when we get snow or when it is colder than normal.....
I always say to them that if they hate it so much then they should move because after all, this is NEPA and we do experience Winter here....
Our niece Renae told us that Sam's Club now carries their own Chicken Fettucine Alfredo...
So I had Joe look for it and Lo and Behold, they sure do have it!!!
Will you look at all that chicken......
I think they use the rotisserie chicken like they do with their chicken salad....
Needless to say, it was delicious so we will definitely be having this again.....
That is Joey and I will be eating this again because Joe does not like this...
PICKY EATER!!!!!!!
I managed to get in a Rudolph Day post for January even though it was 2 days late....
Click HERE to see all the new Buys that Joe got at Big Lot's for 90 % off!!
In my last post on this Blog, I shared the 3 Valentine's Trees in my Living Room.....
Click HERE if you missed it!!
Today, I will continue sharing the Valentine's decorations in the Living Room.....
Red and gold is the color theme for this Season...
We will start by the front door....
On the front door......
This is a Dollar Tree Kissing Booth sign that I embellished......
I will be sharing more crafting that I did in my next post.....
Joe's Grandmother's Hutch....
After Christmas, I cleaned and polished it and decorated it for Valentine's.....
One of the sconces and shelves on each side of the Hutch.....
The top of the Hutch...
A swag that I made from garland with red velvet roses on it is on top of the Hutch in the center.....
Valentine's decorations mix in well with my Victorian decor....
A Valentine's Angel......
Inside the Hutch....
Some of my Angel Collection....
Iris and Herringbone depression glass.....
Gold mercury glass vases.....
A crystal sugar bowl and creamer that was Joe's maternal Grandmother's.....
And I added red rose ornaments and red candles.....
On the stairs.....
The sconce and shelf on the other side of the Hutch.....
I taped 2 Valentine's pictures from a Cynthia Hart Victorian calendar over these Home Interiors pictures......
On top of the lanterns on the stairs are bows made from red velvet rose embossed ribbon that is the same ribbon I used to make Bow Toppers for 2 of the Valentine's Trees in the Living Room.....
The other side of the stairs.....
A wreath and a plaque that I made....
A Valentine's tussie mussie that I made...
The gold trees on marble bases were recently bought at Big Lot's for 90% off with the addition of a 20% off coupon, taking them down to 96 cents each from $12!!!
In the corner by the stairs......
I decorate this chair for different Holidays and Seasons......
I embellished these red velvet Valentine's candy boxes several years ago......
Under the chair.....
2 lanterns and a pair of vintage boy's skates....
I kept this Tree up after Christmas and decorated it for Valentine's.....
A vintage Valentine's card and 2 bottles on the marble topped table that the Tree is on.....
The vintage table and my Nostalgic stereo system......
Red velvet roses bought at Target one year after Christmas....
A vintage Valentine's card......
A heart box that I embellished....
I added a few Valentine's decorations to my regular decor on all the tables in the Living Room......
I added a red rose swag to the soffit between the Living Room and Dining Room.....
In the corner by the Living Room.....
The large round table....
Again, I added a few Valentine's things to my existing Victorian decor.......
On the cherub shelves on each side of the faux window......
Hanging on the faux window.....
A heart wreath that I made several years ago.....
The 7 foot slim Tree in the corner.....
I hung a tinsel heart wreath that was bought at Dollar Tree ....
My niece Renae and great nieces Cort, Cait and Carly gifted me this beautiful lighted cardinal globe....
The 3 tiered vintage table......
On top of the TV Entertainment Center.....
The 3rd Tree in the Living Room...
The small round table on the other side of the TV Entertainment Center......
On the marble topped plant stand....
I put red and gold ornaments in the base..
And also in the apothecary jar along with a red velvet bow....
And that is what my Living Room looks like decorated for Valentine's and the month of February which is deemed Heart month by the America Heart Association.....
All my Winter and Valentine's decorations will stay up until the last week of February when I , once again, will strip everything down and decorate for Easter.....
I still have lots to share though for this Season.....
I will be posting my annual Winter/Valentine's Home Tour along with my good friend Anne Marie's Home Tour for the Season...

I'm not at all a fan of winter -- but it beats some of the other climates. Hurricanes? Nope. Cyclones? Nope. Frequent tornados? Nope. Earthquakes? Nope. Extreme humidity? Nope. So, I suck it up, hope for not much snow or ice and not too horribly cold and we get by! Happy week!
ReplyDeleteYour home is as beautiful as always…and all that wonderful snow!!!! Tell those who complain about the cold and snow in NEPA to come to Texas in the summer…where triple-digit temps last well into the evening and many of us refer to the month of August as “Melt”…. ;-)
ReplyDeleteSo pretty! I love looking at all your decorating ideas! Here we are still struggling with putting away Christmas. And by we, I mean me of course. After a week of grandchildren here on snowdays, it looks like a repeat in the coming week. The weather people are threatening me with icy rain followed by 12 inches of new snow. I don't mind looking at it out a window, but my phone is telling me our temperatures have barely broken ZERO degrees without a chill factor and it will be even colder this week. I am glad I am retired and don't have to shovel or clear off my car or drive to work. Mr. Merry seems to love his snow blower time (or maybe he just likes to get out of the house.
ReplyDeleteWhat a joy it was to find your blog today and visit with you! Your living room is just amazing!! You can surely see how much love you put into every single thing you do to create such a happy space for your family and friends. I am so happy to meet you - I posted right after you on Linda's link-up. God bless you and keep you always in His care!
ReplyDeleteLove your post! Oh my goodness that Pizza looks so good!
ReplyDeleteSam's Alfredo is good too.
I am doing Love Is In The Air this week.
Lots of book Giveaways. Mostly on Facebook but if I can manage there will be posts on the blogs.
I would love to to feature your Valentine's decor next week!
Debbie, you have so many beautiful "love"ly decorations. Your home must just sparkle! I do like that last tree you showed that Joe got a bargain on. He is a great shopper. Happy Valentines Sparkle..xxoJudy
ReplyDeleteHi Deb. I needed a little cheerfulness today so I visited you blog and scrolled through your pictures of your beautiful home and Valentine decoration. What loveliness and it did cheer me up. I am terrible, I have not decorated a bit for Valentines. And it has been months since put a post on my blog. I have had a rough winter and it seems I have lost my desire to decorate and blog. But I sure enjoyed visiting yours. Take care my friend.
ReplyDeleteOh wow Deb! Your trees are just so gorgeous! The time and effort you put in to making your home special for each season is amazing. I'm obsessed with the cardinal globe your nieces gave you. I used to love seeing the cardinals in Ohio but they never seem to make their way west. I haven't seen a single one since I've lived here. Your house is filled with love every day of the year, you can just feel it and it always brightens my day just to visit. Thanks for that! I'm heading over to see Nelson Crest! Have a wonderful day!
ReplyDeleteLooks cute! Thanks for sharing on Crafty Creators!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I love all your Valentine's decor!!! I love that you decorate in a really Victorian style ~ there's so much to see and admire!!! I had fun pinning a bunch of photos and even your grandpups over on the sidebar (to my Animal Friends board). Really fun!
ReplyDeleteHappy to feature your post at this evening's Share Your Style #335 for you,
Hugs,
Barb :)
p.s. Sorry you didn't get that much snow. We had a fun dusting last week but nothing like last year's 12".
Lots to see!! Thanks so much for linking up at A Themed Linkup 95 for All Things Love and Valentine’s Day. Pinned.
