Hanging above the Hutch is a frame with the 4 Seasons depicted in Thomas Kinkade pictures.....
I made it myself with a mat with 4 "windows" and 4 Thomas Kinkade post cards that I bought on EBay....
On the left side of the Hutch.....
I have frequently mentioned that I have pictures in our home that I call "Instant Relatives", meaning that I bought them at flea markets or estate sales.....
The pictures on the top of this Hutch are actually family.........
In the frame, on the left is a picture of my Maternal Grandmother and her mother, my Great Grand mother......
On the right is a picture of my Mother as a young child and her Mother, my Grandmother.....
I have been told that I resemble my Maternal Grandmother, especially in body size and frame.....
The pair of crystal wine glasses were a Wedding gift from a friend......
And another one of my Thomas Kinkade Pink Ladies.....
In the center is a framed picture of my Father's parents......
Agnes and Adam, my Paternal Grandparents, were immigrants from Poland......
Making my Father and his siblings first generation Americans......
On the right side of the Hutch.....
Another Pink Lady and crystal wine glass.....
I was not able to find a Wedding picture of my Maternal Grandparents so I framed the one on the left......
The one on the right is my Maternal Grandmother, holding my Mother when she was a baby.....
My Mother was an only child and her parents were the children of Polish immigrants making my Mother a second generation American......
The inside of the Hutch is filled with my Collection of vintage Moss Rose dishes.....
I hung vintage windows on each side , separating the Dining Room from the Living Room.....
I like to hang things on the windows on the Dining Room side as there are lace curtains hanging on the Living Room side....
On the soffit that separates the Dining Room from the Living Room, is my Collection of Guardian Angel plates....
The chandy, that was given to us by Joe's Aunt Margie, with it's Summer lamp shades......
In the corner, is a round table.......
A few things on the window divider here on this side of the room.....
Hanging on the wall is a clock that Joe bought at J.C. Penney's......
The vintage lamp on the table was gifted to me by a sweet couple who were antique dealers and knew of my obsession with vintage lamps.......
I would find a box of them every so often on my front porch......
I bought the lamp shade on Ebay.....
Behind the lamp in the corner, is a pink mercury glass votive holder.....
On the left side of the table.....
A picture of my Maternal grandmother and someone who is unidentified in the frame.....
A Victorian Calling Card.....
In the center of the table is a sweet mini Tea set that was gifted to me by a friend......
I placed it on a pink depression glass dish.....
On the right side of the table.....
Now these are "Instant Relatives" in this picture frame....
One more Pink Lady.....
Another vintage tea cup....
And Calling Card.....
Next to the table is a marble topped plant stand.....
I placed a vintage milk glass bowl on top of it with a huge pink mercury glass ornament in it.....
It is resting on a pink depression glass sandwich tray....

DeleteYes, I have been told that i resemble my maternal grandmother! I am also big bones like her and have had to fight a battle with my weight my whole life...My Mother took after her father who you can see is short and thin...My mother prided herself in never weighing more than 115 pounds...I definitely did not take after that side of the family!!! I have a collection of Moss Rose, too, collected one piece (or several!) at a time. As I love pink roses, I especially enjoyed this post. I have been collecting vintage/antique dishes, mostly cake plates with the old cabbage roses on them for the last few years and just love them. SOMEDAY I want to hang them in my daughter's old room (which is pale pink to start with). A Victorian would feel very at home in this room--except there would be no maids to wait on them!
