Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
If you followed me on my other Blog, I would so appreciate it if you will follow me on this blog too!!!!
Links to where you can follow me are on the Side Bar.......
While on Stacation last week, I was working in my former "Guest Room" , now my new "Sitting Room".
But first, I want to Thank Jillian, over at Bella Rosa Antiques, for featuring my post, Fairy Garden Projects, Part 1 from last week's Let's Talk Vintage Party!!
Thanks so much , Jillian!!
And I also want to Thank Angel, over at Sew Crafty Angel, for featuring my post, Fairy Garden Projects and Gnomes, Part 2, from last week's Wake Up Wednesday Linky Party!!
Thanks again, Angel and all the hosts of Wake Up Wednesdays!!
Please stop by and link up to this great parties!!
I have been painting a few pieces of furniture and other things.......
This was how this area of my former "Guest Room" looked last year........
Here is a sneak peak of how it looks now.......
I changed out the picture that was here for a Window Mirror.......
Here is where this window mirror, purchased at a church Flea Market, was before.......
I had used it in the "Hearth" area of my fake fireplace ........
You can see that the original finish on it was stained wood......
I got out my trusty Gloss White Spray Paint and painted it white......
You may remember my Tea Cup Shelf.......This is what it looks like now that I spray painted it.......
I think all my tea cups and saucers look better on the white shelf.......
And I also spray painted the frame on this Home Interiors Picture white, it was gold......
I was given this table by a neighbor. I forgot to take a before photo but it was a dark wood stain originally.......I first used Kilz to seal it and then painted it with a Gloss White Valspar Paint from Lowes......
This is how this part of the room now looks......
This book case was built by my Father and several years ago, I had given it to a neighbor and now I have it back!!This is how it looked last year.......
And how it looks now........
Painted Gloss White......
And I also painted this table too.......
It was in my bedroom and this is how it looked at Christmas......And now......
I still have a few more pieces to paint like my wash stand .......
And I also decided to paint my fake fireplace.......
So I hope you will be back to visit soon!!
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

I'm so sorry to hear about your blog, Debbie, but I'm glad you started a new one and didn't let that keep you down! You've been busy, but I love the painted furniture. :)
ReplyDeleteGood to see that the blog is up and running well again for you. I just love your tea cup display, everything looks lovely!
ReplyDeleteDebbie,
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for linking up your posts with us this week for Snickerdoodle Sunday! You did a great job on the furniture-the white looks lovely. I'm envious of your beautiful tea cup collection! So many pretty patterns displayed so beautifully. Makes me giggle to think of you being bored during retirement. Take care of you and Joe and have a fabulous week ahead!

Oh my goodness.....I love, love, love all the new white furniture!! I am sorry to hear about your hack. I lost my side bar stuff, but I don't think I was hacked. I tried to follow you on Google, but it wouldn't load, I'll try again later. I am following on all the rest. hugs....
ReplyDeleteLOVE all the white furniture and furnishings. My favorite transformation is the Tea Cup shelf. We wouldn't dream of missing your beautiful blog. Sorry that happened but glad to see you have prevailed!
ReplyDeleteLove your white shelves Debbie. Your cups and saucers are beautiful. Aww sorry to hear about your blog being hacked :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for linking up to Creative Mondays..
I am liking the white paint! :) And have followed along on your new blog. Sorry about the hack! That must have been a hassle to fix everything. May the rest of your week go smoothly and thank you for sharing at the Art of Home-Making Mondays! :)
ReplyDeleteOh, Debbie, what a lovely transformation the white paint made! Your teacups pop and I love your mirrored window. I am quite struck on those. Glad to see your followers are coming back to follow your blog. Have a lovely day, my friend.
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Sandi
Dear Debbie:
ReplyDeleteI love your changing to white. I did that myself a few years back. I had the heavy dark Victorian for many years but needed a change to lighter and fresher. Enjoy!
Oh my, I would just love to see your book collection!!! Pretty room with lots of pretty things!
ReplyDeleteWow...how fun!! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining Cooking and Crafting with J & J!
Debbie, your teacup shelf is a thing of beauty! Thanks for sharing at Five Star Frou-Frou this week. Sending you many hugs on the blog hacking issue. People are just well...I can't say the word here. But plain nasty comes to mind. Mimi xxx
