feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....

And now for a few Personal Notes...
For the New Year, I am trying something different with my 3 times weekly posts....
On THURSDAYS,
I will feature what I cooked and ate during the week, showcasing local
cuisine and a few recipes for things that I actually made...
I decided that on SATURDAYS, I will showcase What I Have Been Up To in the past week, sharing events and places I went to, if any....
On MONDAYS, I will be featuring What I Have Bought or Been Gifted Recently, if anything...
This past Wednesday was our Monthly Young at Heart Senior Social Club meeting.....
Lucy; Secretary, Rita ; Vice President and Rosemary; Treasurer....
Enjoying pizza and some goodies....
Our speaker was a local man, Fred, who is the facilitator of one of the national Grief Share programs in our area...
Our parish is partnering with this Grief Share program to offer help and support to those in our parish who have lost loved ones....
It was another enjoyable and informative meeting and I am happy I got to spend the day with friends as it also would have been my 48th wedding anniversary.....
Today, I will be finishing up my tour of how the Dining Room is decorated in a Tea Room theme for the Summer.....
This is the soffit between the Dining Room and the Living Room.....

This is the top of a small cabinet I bought at a flea market for $5......
These Victorian houses were gifted to me by a reader of my Blogs....
The rose cloche was a gift from my son Jim and his family....
I placed it in a vintage milk glass bowl.....
This cabinet is against the Living Room chair, separating the Dining Room from the Living Room.....
In the corner, there is a round table that was set up after Easter.........
I hung some plaques I made on the vintage windows I hung as room dividers....
Where my 6 ft. pencil thin Tree stands from Fall to after Easter....
My late husband Joe gifted me this clock from J.C. Penney's....
I ordered the lamp shade many years ago, from an eBay store, for this vintage lamp.....
My maternal Grandmother is the one on the left in this picture.....

I bought that picture at a flea market so they are what I call " Instant Relatives"....

I put it inside the curio to protect it and so I can see it everyday when we eat dinner ....
