Today, I will be sharing the Powder Room decorated for Winter with a bit of Valentine's....

In my last post, I shared the rest of my Dining Room decorated for Valentine's.....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

I want to Thank to Joanne, over at Slices of Life, for choosing my post, Valentine's Hutch and Entry in the Living Room, as a bonus feature from last week's Talking About It Tuesdays Link Party!!

She said she chose it because "there are some really cute baby photos and "mimi" gifts for Debbie's birthday!"

Thanks again, Joanne!!!

Please stop by and link up to this charming party!!

Today, I will be sharing the last room in my room by room Winter/ Valentine's Tour....

The Powder Room.....

I guess it is appropriate to be ending my Winter/ Valentine's Room by Room Tour with a room that is mostly decorated for Winter as we got 7 1/2 inches of Snow on Tuesday!!

We were only supposed to get 2-4 inches.....

Other areas got over a foot of Snow!!

Some pics taken during the Blue Hour.....

Around 7 am in the morning.....

 The back yard....

I could not wait to get out to shovel!!!!

I did sidewalks and our steps.....

I did not want Joe to take my picture.....

 Can you tell......

I shoveled a path to the car and then cleaned off the car.....

Some pretty snow pictures.....

My Winter decorations look so charming with all the snow.....

You can see I did some playing around with my blog and used this picture as a header picture.....

We are supposed to get snow showers almost every other day for the next week with accumulations of an inch or so .....

Winter is not over here in NEPA, for sure!!

Some of our biggest snow storms have come in March!!!!

And now on to the Powder Room....

If you missed how this room looked for Christmas, please click HERE.....

After Christmas, I left up all the Snow Buddy decorations and replaced Christmas items with Valentine's ones....

I hung a heart I made above the door....

I added a red bottle brush tree to this shelf....

Many years ago, I added a Valentine lace ruffle to it's pot....

Even though this plate is a Christmas plate, I just attached a Valentine's bow to the bottom of it to hide the Christmas writing on it....

I left the top of the medicine cabinet the same...

I added a few things to the sink area.....

Joe bought the penguin soap dispenser and ornament in Big Lot's after Christmas on Clearance!!

I also added a vintage Valentine's card that I may frame.....

A beaded mitten ornament hangs from the medicine cabinet knob...

Above the toilet....

I added another red bottle brush tree to the top of this shelf....

And 2 red deer, which are ornaments bought on Clearance in Big Lot's to the bottom shelf....

 A Valentine's sign.....

 On top of the toilet.....

Red heart paper doilies and  "The Queen of Everything"

The etagere in the corner......

I changed out any Christmas ornaments on this Tree with red heart ornaments....

And blue toile heart ornaments....

 Underneath the Tree...

Added a heart box.....

The Village on the shelf underneath the Tree....

A tiered shelf next to the estagere....

An Avon pitcher with a Winter scene on it filled with red roses and evergreen branches....

I bought the Snowman at Big Lot's and placed this lotion dispenser on top of it....

I added red roses to the small shelves....

And more mitten ornaments and silver heart ornaments to the black iron sconces....

An Avon tea pot that matches the pitcher.....

Red doily hearts.....

I displayed my Valentine's Snow Buddies on this wall shelf....

And added 2 more red deer....

A silver mercury glass heart in the center.....

I replaced the Christmas ornament hanging in the middle of the swag with a silver heart one.....

And that completes my Tour of the Powder Room and the Room by Room Winter/Valentine's Tour of our house for this year...

Next week, I will be sharing my Winter/Valentine's Home Tour and also my dear friends Anne Marie's Winter Home Tour!!!

Since I celebrate the month of February as Heart Month, I will NOT be taking my Winter/Valentine's decor down until the 26th of the month.....

Normally, I would wait until the end of the month but Easter is very early this year, on March 31st.....

In my next post on Saturday, for Saturday Snippets, I will be sharing some gifts and a vist from my friend, Anne Mare.....

  And some Valentine's celebrations....

Including this tablescape!!!

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on SATURDAY!!!

  1. Holy Moly, you got snow!!! We have barely gotten anything again this year. I was so surprised to see what happened east of us to the coast! But it is the perfect backdrop for your decorating! Just stay home, warm and safe.
    Those Valentine babies! So precious!!!!!
I will be sending you a private message. I am so sorry. Always chaos around here. I am at church today and just got a call from grampa that one of the kids has a 104 temp. Always something.

  2. How fun to see those sweet little girls in their Valentines outfits! Mom and dad look good, but a bit tired. Hang in there, and savor every moment.

  5. Your blue hour photos are gorgeous and I love seeing the girls. We only have a little snow -- I suspect it will melt by tomorrow. Today is cold but tomorrow in the 40s (they say.)

  8. I love the Valentine heart trees! But the best photos were of the wee ones and mom and dad! Thanks for sharing with us at WTJR!

  9. Yowza! Were they off on your snow totals! We were supposed to get upwards of a foot and ended up with a bit less than 6" (I much prefer that sort of mix up with totals). It does look beautiful and I always remind myself what a great workout shoveling can be. We get many of our worst storms in March too; in fact after one really snowy March all our local area schools did away with February vacation entirely for all the following years because that year they had run out of make up days and didn't want that to happen again. Your bathroom looks quite lovely and that penguin soap dispenser is so darn cute!!
