I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I have actually been feeling like myself again for the past few days so I pray that whatever was wrong with me is now gone but I am still going to see my Gastroenterologist next week....

I took this picture through the screen door as I knew as soon as I would open the door, they would have flown away....

A blue jay and a morning dove together in my bird bath in the back yard...

I managed to check off another one of my Goals that I originally hoped to finish in July but since I was not feeling well for the last two weeks of July, I finally got around to it this past week....

Pack up my Roos/Hen and Bee decor in the Kitchen - YES!!!!

Redecorate the Kitchen in my Late Summer/Early Fall Apples and Sunflower theme - YES!

Today, I will be beginning my tour of the Kitchen decorated for Late Summer/Early Fall in an Apples and Sunflowers theme....

I have decorated the Kitchen like this in the late Summer for several years now....

A Dollar Tree sunflower sign that I embellished along with apple and sunflower oven mitts....

On the side of the stove....

Sunflowers and apples in the grater planter....

And an apple orchard towel hanging from it....

Sunflowers in the yellow milk can on the side of the stove....

An apple basket filled with apples is set in a vintage green bowl....

Vintage strawberry and apple tea towels, an apple hot pad and apple ornaments hang on the side of the stove.....

 Above the stove...

A Dollar Tree sign....

 New apple pot holders.....

And towels I bought a few months ago in Ollies....

To the right of the stove....

Another Dollar Tree sign that I embellished...

The small counter area between the stove and the sink....

I taped this apple cider sign that I printed out after finding it online to a sign I already had hanging here...

Apple and Sunflower towels bought in Boscov's and apple rugs bought in Gabes...

We took the Kitchen window out when we turned the back Patio into another room, the Den....

I still treat this area as a window....

I changed out the valance for a sunflower one....

I hung a few apples that I made from the chandy, the valance and the fretwork on the side of the cabinets.......

On the left side.....

An apple pot holder....

A Dollar Tree sign that I bought last year and decided to embellish with some green gimp trim I had.....

The shutters were my late neighbor Elly's....

On the window sill.....

On the left side of the sill....

 Apples and sunflowers...

In the center, is a milk can with a sunflower and apple arrangement....

I bought the sunflower salt and pepper shakers at a church flea market....

The sunflower place mat was bought at Dollar Tree several years ago...

On the right side.....

I recently bought this new sign at Dollar Tree....

And I also embellished it with green gimp trim....

Was easier than painting it and added a bit of texture....

To the right of the sink.....

Another Dollar Tree sign and a Fall towel...

In the corner.....

I placed an apple cutting board, that I painted and decoupaged an apple print out on it, on top of the copper wire cup......

And this is where I will leave off for today.....

In my next post, I will be sharing my Beverage Area.....

 The top of the refrigerator.....

And the counter bar.....
