Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS
I
enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and
commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have
a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to
spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

In my last post, I shared my family Mother's Day celebration....

Thanks so much, Andrea!!
Please stop by and link up to this charming party!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
It has been a busy week for me and I am finally catching my breath...
We have, once again, been getting more rain.....
Almost another inch and a half over a few days in addition to the 5 inches we got over a week and a half ago ...
And more is yet to come....
Needless to say, we are no longer facing a possible drought....
On one of the nice sunny days we had, I put out the rug on my front porch, finishing it off for the Summer....
I decided last year, after spending countless hours watering all my annuals trying to keep them alive in "Tropical" dew points and record breaking heat, that I had had enough....
After seeing countless You Tube and FB videos, along with pictures on Instagram and Pinterest, of all the faux flowers that seem to be gaining huge popularity, I threw my hat in the ring and bought quite a bit of them....
And then bought even more.....
All of mine came from Walmart as their prices were cheaper than Amazon was, even for the exact same brand products and you get free shipping on orders over $35 with no membership needed....
And I have to tell you that I am so very glad that I did!!!!
You can see the new sidewalk blocks that our HOA recently replaced.....
Too bad the 2 in the middle were not crumbling too or I would have all new sidewalks in front of my townhouse...
I, once again, stayed with the red, yellow and orange color theme for my Summer Front Porch as it makes the transition into Fall easier....
I also changed a few things around, among adding some new things...
Between my neighbor's and my porch....
This table was always over in the opposite corner of the porch....
All the pots on the Front Porch are now filled with faux flowers!!!
I recently bought 3 of these solar lights at Dollar Tree that look orange when lit up, almost like a flame....

This lighthouse, that I made out of clay pots, has really held up well, even with all the Winter elements as it stays out here year round...
I moved this table over to this side of the porch as I wanted to put this pot on it...
More faux flowers and another solar light from Dollar Tree....
The cute Bee bucket also came from Dollar Tree....
The ceramic frogs were my late neighbor Elly's....
As was this vintage milk can....
A few years ago, I made all the bows that you will see on the porch....
Also new this year is the eucalyptus lighted garland around the front door....
The Welcome sign to the right is one my husband Joe bought in Big Lot's at 90% off....
I added bows to each corner of the garland....
Along with these Lady Bugs that I bought in Dollar General several years ago....
I made the wreath about 5 years ago....
Added Bees that I painted about 2 years ago....
I bought this metal sign in Dollar Tree back in February....
And hung it in the center of the wreath....
I will paint " Let It Bee" red so it stands out against the door....
I am so happy with how this all looks this year...
I bought the red seat cushions for the chairs last year in Ocean State Job Lot and the pillows in Boscov's at an End of the Season Clearance sale 3 years ago....

Since I have "Weeping Mortar", meaning the mortar was not cleaned off and evened out when the bricks were laid, I can hang signs up!!
"Weeping Mortar" was popular in the 1970's when my townhouse was built....
The Welcome sign on the right was a Valentine's Day one ( 90% off) that I painted to go with my color theme here on the porch for Summer....
Another bow on the porch light....
Joe bought the "B" sign and I bought the Lady Bug wreath in Hobby Lobby a few years ago....

Again...Faux flowers in the urn....

The black and white rug came from Ocean State Job Lot....

In the corner.....
This tree has graced this corner of the porch for almost 20 years now....
I hung these Dollar Tree Bee signs on it....
I will be painting the blue flowers red on this metal Dollar Tree sign...
I am looking for a new mail box cover as this one has seen better days....
I switched this black wrought iron table over to this area of the porch....
A Fairy that Joe bought in Wegman's a long time ago...
One more pot filled with faux flowers and one more Dollar Tree solar light....
Joe bought this faux boxwood ball about 15 years ago in Wegman's....
I hung another Dollar Tree Bee sign up...
I bought the Solar Light in Gabes...
The frog was my late neighbor Elly's....
Solar lights hanging on the railing....
I used to plant marigolds in these small rectangular planters in front of the porch railing....

I sometimes had to water them twice a day depending on how hot it got....

I weighted them down with some white rocks I had as they tend to blow over with high winds...

And the excess water will not be draining into the crack between the sidewalk and my porch, enlarging it....
I moved this fairy from the front yard over here...
We bought those concrete frogs in Sam's Club over 20 years ago....
I will no longer have to water these pots on the porch!!
And if I am so inclined, I can change around the flowers "planted" in them!
I really love how the porch looks this year....
I hope that it will not be so sticking hot this Summer, like last year, and I will actually get to spend some afternoons on the porch, reading....

I hope you enjoyed seeing my Late Spring/Early Summer Front Porch....
I do plan to buy annuals to plant in a few pots out in the front yard flower beds....
I am not sure when I will, especially with this type of weather predicted for the week ahead!!!

Yes, you are looking at 50's at the end of the week!!
This is why I never get excited when we hit high 70's in March because it is just a fluke!!
Since I do not see 30's as lows, I just may buy my annuals at the end of the week before the rain comes...
But I will not be buying anywhere near what I used to buy...
I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY for my next post....
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
