Today, I will be sharing some recent New Buys!!
In my last post, I was invited by Katherine, over at
Katherine's Corner,
to join her and a group of talented bloggers, participating in her
Summer Time on a Tray Blog Tour!!
I did a Fairy Garden on a Tray for Summer....
Click
HERE if you missed that post!!
A few weeks ago, I bought these things at Dollar Tree.....
In my Sneak Peeks, You saw how I embellished this, changing it from this....
To this....
And these.....
To these....
And this...
To this.....
I also bought a few things at Dollar General.....
These were Buy One, Get One Free!!!
I made an ornament out of the Patriotic one and used the rest of the items for my indoor Fairy Garden on the mantel of my faux fireplace in my Sitting Room....
I will be sharing that area soon....
This fish was $1.00......
I embellished it a bit too.....
And we all need Glue Sticks....
I have been watching You Tube videos showcasing all the new Fall merchandise that is in various stores....
It is one of my guilty little pleasures...
Last week, I thought I would check out Dollar Tree to see if they got any of their Fall merchandise in and I happened upon the workers just starting to put some of it out....
This is what I bought initially...
I will put these away to use in my Kitchen for next year.....
I love these charger plates with the plaid border....
You can use these for Halloween and Winter.......
And along with the Bumble Bee dishes from Dollar Tree.....
In the beginning of August, I will be decorating my Kitchen in an Apple and Sunflower theme for Late Summer/Early Fall.....
I thought these will go right along with that theme.....
I just love these and I think I will also leave them out for Fall....
A lot of what I bought look very Hobby Lobbyish as one of my favorite You Tubers call it....
I think these look like they could have been bought at Hobby Lobby , don't you????
I believe that Dollar Tree has upped their game recently.....
That same morning, I finally decided to check out the new Hobby Lobby that is 5 minutes down the road from us in the shopping district right next to our development....
I knew that Spring items were 66% off and Fall was 40 % off from watching all the "Shop with Me" videos on You Tube which I watch on the large TV in the Living Room so I have a good view!!!
LOL!
These were 90% off and I will use these possibly on my Patriotic Tree next year...
These were 66% off...
And these were 40% off.....
More Apple things for my Kitchen....
Isn't this set of 2 cute?????
And I had to buy this with the sunflowers against the red background.....
Love this set of bottle brush trees for Fall.....
And for my Doll House....
Here is where I put that cute Beetle Wreath....
I had a $25 gift card that my son Joey gave me for Christmas ( that I saved til now) and I spent $26.38 so I only paid $1.38 for all of those items!!
After watching yet another "Shop with Me " video, I decided to go back down to Dollar Tree to see if they had unpacked some other things that I was in the market for and I hit Pay Dirt!!!!
They had everything that I was looking for!!!!
These are for the Kitchen for my Late Summer/Early Fall theme of Apples and Sunflowers....
And these are for Fall......
Again, this looks very Hobby Lobbyish!!!
I bought some of these last year but wanted a few more....
And I absolutely LOVE these......
In the one video I watched,
The Queen, stacked these like so and I love the look and I think I have the perfect place to display them like this if they will fit!!!!
I did not have my current Beverage Center set up for late Summer and Fall/Halloween last year so I am going to have fun with that area in the Kitchen this year!!!!
And I bought this because it includes apples....
Growing up , we had an apple tree in our back yard, as the second home my Dad built was in a former Orchard.....
He saved one of the Trees during construction so I have great memories of, first my Mom baking apple pies, and then my Dad baked them after his construction accident!!!!
I am really happy with my latest Shopping Hauls...
And a word to the wise, hit the stores now, especially Dollar Tree , for Fall merchandise or they will be gone before you know it!!!!
This is the time when the Crafters, who sell their wares at Local Craft Fairs, stock up and make their creations....
Also, check out the "Shop with Me' videos on you tube to see what the stores are offering first before you go....
In my next post on MONDAY, I will be sharing a Garden Update as I cut back perennials that stopped blooming, weeded, trimmed and moved a few pots around.....
And I will be sharing a few evening pics too!!
So I hope you will stop by to visit again on MONDAY!!
Have a great weekend!!
Stay cool, safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

Love all the treasures! I am especially partial to those "mugs". I hope my store still has some left. They are adorable.
ReplyDeleteWe saw the fall decorations yesterday at Costco. You know what that means? Christmas is coming! (And, this heat will end. lol.) Over from Pink Saturday. Enjoy your week!
ReplyDeleteGreat haul, Deb. It is so fun to see what is available for fall. I will have to check out my Dollar Tree. Your tablescape is gorgeous and love your nautical tree. You have giving me a lot of ideas. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home. Hugs.
ReplyDeleteHi Deb - I popped over to see what you were up to with your latest theme and you didn't disappoint. I'm always fascinated with all the changes you make and all the decorations you have on hand (I have trouble just doing Christmas well!) Your fairy garden challenge was really cute and I was very impressed with all your Under the Sea decor too - there's always something new to see here when I stop by.
ReplyDeleteAwesome items! I love the things you can find at the dollar store. If it's inexpensive, I am all about it!
ReplyDeleteYou did hit pay dirt Debbie! I want that Pumpkin Patch sign, it is too cute! For some reason, a lot of the photos in the middle of the post did not load (referencing under the sea), I tried refreshing and they still did not load so I feel like I missed quite a bit, but from what I can see, you got quite the stash! I loved the fairy garden tray display, it is too cute. I do not think I could have come up with something for that requirement. You did awesome! I will come back to see if the rest loads so I can see under the sea! I am intrigued. ;)
ReplyDeleteYou found some really cute fall decor and things! I love how well those plaid chargers go with your bee plates.
ReplyDeleteIt’s hard to believe that Fall is already sneaking up! Make it stop!
ReplyDeleteI love Fall, but time is passing too quickly!
I’m glad you found some cute things! For me—I need to focus on my summer stuff for awhile longer!
Featuring your post at the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop 71! Thanks for sharing!
Laurie
