Today, I will be sharing how I decorated the Living Room for Easter this year....
In my last post, I shared a bit more "dabbling" that I have been doing with Easter Decor and crafts....
I
want to Thank Bev, over at Eclectic Red Barn , for choosing my post,
Changing Seasons and Crafting, as one of her features from last week's
Happiness is Homemade Link Party!!!
Thanks so much, Bev!!
Please stop by and link up to this charming party!!
This is going to be a long post so I am skipping personal notes today....
So grab a cup of something good and have a seat....
I went to Dollar Tree on Saturday to look to see if they had any more of these Bunnies....
I added a bow to this one and I saw so many other ideas for these bunnies on Pinterest.......
Well, they did not have the Bunnies but they had a lot of other things that caught my eye.....
I bought these garlands....
I did not use them as a garland and I cut them apart, making ornaments....
I hung the aqua ones here at the front door, which is where I will start my Tour of the Living Room decorated for Easter....
Along with this Bunny....
The Hutch in the Living Room....
On the left side....
I decorated the top of the Hutch for Easter a little differently this year....
Joe bought these Egg Topiaries last year in Big Lot's at 90 % off.....
They were $1.20 each!!
I placed them on each side.....
A cross I bought at a church Flea Market was placed in the center......
Also new this year, is the egg garland....
On the right side....
On the stairs.....
I decorated the lanterns for Easter.....
I have used a lot of purple, aqua and peach for Easter in the Living Room....
Joe also bought this for 90 % off and I embellished it with trim and ribbon flowers....
A Bunny Wreath I made a few years ago....
I shared the 2 larger Trees in the Living Room in This Post...
Notice something not quite right with this sign under the chair....
Yep!!
At 90 % off, it was only $1.40 and I decided to leave it this way as a conversation piece....
I added the purple checked bunny and egg ornaments that I embellished to this Tree....
I hung this sign by the curio......
On the floor in front of the curio is a bunny I bought a few years ago in Tuesday Mornings.....
I did not embellish it....it was already like this!!!
Over by the Dining Room.....
The ceramic bunny was a gift for Easter from my Mother.....
I hung crystalized eggs on each side of the window dividers....sorry for the glare from the flash....
The table in the other corner by the Dining Room...
I replaced the gold cherubs on these shelves that I use for Fall and Winter with Victorian Ladies for Spring and Summer....
My faux window....
Signs that I embellished and a cross that I made from a styrofoam form bought at the estate sale of a florist...
More Victorian Ladies....
I already shared the Tree and Bunny Land underneath it in a previous post...
On the window...
The vintage table by the TV Entertainment Center....
The top of the TV Entertainment Center....
I changed things up a bit this year and left the gold tinsel Tree here after Valentine's Day....
I bought the large bunnies at a church flea market a year before the Pandemic...
The putz houses came from The Christmas Tree Shop....
I decorated the gold tinsel Tree, instead of a white one as in past years, with egg lights and egg ornaments....
I used these eggs that Joe bought for 60 cents at 90% off...
I also added an egg garland this year...
I like the way it looks with the gold Tree.....
On the floor in front of the TV Entertainment Center....
You may remember that I made these carrots out of Dollar Tree Gift Bags....
Click HERE if you missed that post....
I made these decoupaged eggs about 15 years ago and placed them in a vintage lamb planter...
I made the bunnies last year out of dish towels....
The smaller round table by the front door...
And on the marble topped stand .....
More carrots I made...
And that completes my Tour of the Living Room decorated for Easter this year.....
I hope you enjoyed seeing some of the crafts I did and the changes I made from other years...

Hi Deb - well all I can say is Wow! So many bunnies, eggs, flowers, and that tree! You are amazing to have all of those decorations and to put them out and take them down each year - I can't even imagine the time and effort needed. It certainly makes an impact. Great job.
ReplyDeleteYour home is very festive. I feel like the grinch or bah humbug over here. I haven’t decorated for Easter at all.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy seeing your trees!! Thanks so much for linking up at the #UnlimitedLinkParty 105. Shared.
ReplyDeleteYour Easter living room decorations are so festive -- I really like the pretty pastels and spring colors. Also - I like your use of the Easter egg garlands. They're a lovely accompaniment to all the bunnies. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 57.

You have so many exquisite bunnies Debbie. The large vintage one is my favorite though, I think. Thank you for sharing with Whimsy Home Wednesday!
