Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Just a reminder, I will be posting on Wednesdays
and Sundays every week so be sure to check back on those days to see a
new post......
Today, I will be sharing how I added a bit more Halloween to my Powder Room this year......
Thanks so much, Angie and Marci!!
Please stop by and link up to this lovely party!!
And now for a few Personal Notes...
Saw this little guy the other day when I was cleaning the Patio.....
This is what I pulled up when I googled the Woolly Bear Caterpillar......
"Woolly Bear Folklore:
The longer the woolly bear's black bands, the longer, colder, snowier, and more severe the winter will be. ... If the head end of the caterpillar is dark, the beginning of winter will be severe. If the tail end is dark, the end of winter will be cold."
I don't know......
What do you think.....
Joe and I worked and finished landscaping my neighbor Khaled's rental property's flower bed under the Living Room window......
We still have one little area to do on the other side of the sidewalk in the picture above and the Barna Landscaping is finally done......
For this Season!!!
In my previous post, I shared the Halloween decorations on my Kitchen.....
Click
HERE if you missed this post....
From April until November , the Powder Room is decorated in a Pink and Black color theme.....
Other years, I added a few Halloween decorations to it to make it look festive for the Season.....
A Facebook friend posted this picture that she found online and I was inspired.....
Now granted I don't have a small pink Tree to fit in the Powder Room to decorate for Halloween, but I loved the thought of using pink with black and white Halloween decorations......
So I decided to get a little creative in the Powder Room......
For a few years now, I hung this wreath that I made on the Powder Room door along with this Dollar Tree Halloween sign......
To the left when you enter the room is the sink area......
I added a light and dark grey chenille fabric pumpkin to this shelf......
This year, I decided to embellish this half pumpkin just a bit more than I did several years ago......
I enjoy being able to decorate the top of my new Medicine Cabinet....
I added 2 pumpkins and black roses to the silver mercury glass votives on top of it....
On the side of the cabinet......
A spooky chandy ornament.....
A Dollar Tree sign bought this year and topped off with a candle ring in pink......
A Dollar Tree tray that I embellished and a silver mercury glass pumpkin that I added pink velvet leaves and a spider on black leaves to.....
I left the estagere as is.......
On the small tiered stand.....
I added light up black roses , also bought recently at Dollar Tree, to this existing arrangement....
Pumpkins, a silver pine cone, a black skull and a spider on the hand were added to the top of the stand.....
This shelf unit is what I did decorate for Halloween......
On the side of the shelf.....
One of two Pier One plates that Joe bought on Clearance sits on a small Home Interiors shelf with a silver pine cone and a silver and white owl ornament hanging from the shelf.....
I hung a silver leaf ornament from the sconce.....
And a Skeleton Bride ornament from the bottom of it....
On top of the shelf unit.....
You may remember the pink velvet pumpkins that I bought at Dollar Tree this Season.....
And how I embellished them.....
This is where I decided to display them.....
The silver pine cone also came from Dollar Tree this Season and the Skeleton Bride and Groom was bought at Michael's a few years ago.........
Top shelf.....
I embellished these pumpkins after spray painting them pink many years ago....
I pulled the silver hand and Creepy sign from the Dining Room decorations....
Other things that I pulled from the Dining Room are now on this shelf....
I hung this spider web behind the tray that holds the creamer that I use for Q Tips and the sugar bowl that I use for cotton balls.....
On the other side of the shelf unit.....
The other plate from Pier One.....
And the Skeleton Bride and Groom ornaments that was bought at Ross For Less many years ago.....
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I added more Halloween decorations this year to my Powder Room....
I sure enjoyed doing so!!
In my next post, I will be sharing my Witch's Potion Table......
A few Haunted Houses.....
And a Fortune Teller
In my Spooky Halloween Dining Room......
So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

I always love a pink and black bathroom. It just kills me when I see them rip out the old 1930's ones on HGTV. Yours is so elegant as well as spooky. I love all your ideas! You are just so creative. It really is special.
ReplyDeleteThe landscaping business has ended on a high note!! Your work is so wonderful. You really have raised the bar for the neighborhood.
I love the pink vibe...I'm not a fan of scary Halloween decorations. I like your take much better!!

ReplyDeleteI've always loved pink and black together, that's very creative to use that color combo in your bathroom. As for the wooly caterpillars, I don't know what's going on but my porch and garden are filled with them this year!
ReplyDeleteDeb: Well, it looks to me like you might have some bad weather AND some good weather. How can you tell if that pretty little guy is coming or going? Your pink and blacK boudoir is gorgeous. I never think of those colors in regards to Halloween but they really work and that big tree is something else. I can see a big pink tree in Debbie-Dabble's future!..Happy Weekend, my friend..xxoJudy
