Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
Thanks so much, Barb!!
I also want to Thank Bev, over at Eclectic Red Barn, for choosing my post , How 20 Years of Chronic Health Issues Helped Me Through the Pandemic, as one of her features from this week's Thursday Favorite Things Linky Party!!!
Please stop by and link up to these parties!!!
In my last post, I shared that I re-worked 2 wreaths for Winter and a few Snow pictures ........
Click HERE if you would like to see that post.....
This is what the Front Porch looks like now and how it will look for the remainder of the Winter....
Several years ago, I smartened up and changed some of my Christmas decorations so that they can be left out for the entire Winter.......
Like the majority of the bows and the snowflakes on the garland......
Most of the things that I hang on my "Weeping Mortar" can also be left out after Christmas.....
The greenery that Joe cut from the side of our road and woods are holding up well and should make it through the rest of the Winter until March.....
Changed the red velvet bow out on the lighthouse I made and added a Winter slate.....
Also changed out the red velvet bow here for a bow I made out of ribbon from one of the wreaths that I re-worked.....
This was how the front door area looked at Christmas........
This is what it looks like now.....
I hung the newly re-worked Winter Wreath on the front door and a Winter slate to the left side of it......
Yes, that is an ice melt container by the front door that I forgot to move out of the way but the reality is that we live in the Northeast and have had a lot of snow and ice lately.......
For my Winter decorations outside, I have used a lot of Red Cardinal items.....
I removed and replaced some of the Christmas items.....
Once again, sorry about all the shovels, ice picks and car broom but it is the reality of living in NEPA!!!
I also changed out the green CFL light bulb for a red one for Valentine's Day......
And I changed the bow hanging from the light fixture....
I took down the wood Christmas sleigh that my son Jim made for me in Cub Scouts and replaced it with a Winter Slate.....
And I hung the other Winter wreath that I re-worked in place of a Christmas sign under the flag pole.....
Changed out the bow for a new one that I made on the tree in the corner of the front porch which is on the porch year round....
The front flower bed.......
Winter mini flags...
Flower bed at the top of our slope.....
After I took the pictures, I realized that I forgot to put on the red porch light......
The front flower bed......
I have LOTS to share as I have been very busy!!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

Your porch looks so pretty. I could have sworn my Christmas decorations would come down today. Due to a series of events starting with a dentist appointment that ended up in the emergency room, we have had a toddler and baby with us for over 48 hours. They have now returned home, but gramma and grampa are so tired, we have put it off for tomorrow (hopefully)
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you, thank you, thank you for providing us with a peaceful, creative, lovely, quiet blog to counterbalance the craziness that went on in DC this week...I tell ya - after that day I was so stressed...hubs told me to “read that blog you enjoy so much...that makes you happy”...so at the first opportunity I got, I did!
Your decor brings back so many childhood memories! I enjoy reading it so much!
Stay safe, warm, and healthy!
xoxo,
Nina
Nina,
DeleteWords can not thank you enough for your very sweet words.....
It is because of people like you that I continue to post on my blog even though at times it is very labor intensive and I do often wonder if anyone is actually reading what I write and interested in what I have to share.... Then I get a comment or an email from someone like yourself and I am once again amazed that my blog could mean so much to someone else....Thanks so much of r making my day and restoring my faith in continuing to blog....I truly appreciate it!! Stay safe, Healthy and happy, my friend!!
Hugs,
Deb
Your pretty cardinal flag reminds me I have to replace my winter flag, which has taken rather a beating! It's looking lovely, Debbie. I'd love to have a porch to decorate so pretty as yours!
ReplyDeleteGood Morning and Happy Sunday Debbie. I bet your neighbors just loved seeing all your pretty decor for the holidays. These days we need to feel some joy and happiness especially when it was Christmas time. Have a great start to the new week. xoxo
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed looking at your outside winter decorations. You do such a great job with everything inside and outside of your house. Hope you have a nice week. :)
ReplyDeleteMy goodness your porch and front are a sight for sore eyes, it is so pretty. It must make you and everyone who walks past smile. I must admit I have never thought about leaving 'Winter' decor, it seems like such a fun thing to do.
ReplyDeleteDebbie, your porch is lovely, so pretty and festive. Sure to bring smiles. Happy week ahead. Xo
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI just wanted to stop by and say hi! Glad to see you are doing well!
Liberty
Your porch is gorgeous for your winterscape. Happy Thursday. Have a great day today. xoxo
ReplyDeleteYou have so many wonderful touches; I just love those winter slates! Pinned.
ReplyDeleteOooo... look at all that snow!! :) We don't get snow out here and my little boy is fascinated by it. He keeps wanting to go to a country where it snows! lol
ReplyDeleteEverything looks beautiful, as always, Debbie :)

Thanks for sharing your pretty winter porch at Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteYour place looks like a winter wonderland for sure and I like how you transform easily from Christmas to winter. It's always so much fun to "visit" your home! Thanks for sharing all your great pictures.
ReplyDeleteYour porch looks so inviting with all those little and big Christmassy elements. Such lovely wreaths too. My neighbors are also keeping their Christmas decorations on.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us at Meraki Link Party.
Much love for a bright, beautiful and healthy 2021

So so pretty, this post has brought a smile to my face and given me a warm glow inside. We don't do this in the UK but I wish we did, January would be a lot easier to get through if we did x
