Today, I will be sharing more of my late Summer "Under the Sea" decorations.....
But first, I want To Thank Marilyn, over at Marilyn's Treats, for choosing my post, Patriotic Decor in the Evening, as one of her features from last week's Thursday Favorite Things Linky Party!!!
Thanks so much, Marilyn!!
Please visit and link up to this wonderful party!!
In my last post, I shared my late Summer "Under the Sea" Tree that I have in our Living Room.......
Today, I will be sharing how I decorated underneath the Tree and around the Tree.......
I call the area underneath the Tree, "The Beach"!!
I decorated this area a bit differently this year because I have the Tree itself elevated on a box.......
Wrapped around the base of the Tree, is a piece of aqua decor mesh which matches the garland that I made out of deco mesh on the Tree.......
There is also pieces of netting on the deco mesh......
I found this anchor in Big Lot's last year on Clearance for $10!!
It is battery operated.......
I used a white Tree skirt around the base of the Tree........
Shells, driftwood and sea rocks are scattered about under the Tree......
I embellished these large shells with glitter, trims pearls and smaller shells last year......
They now sit on top of the box that I used to elevate the Tree.........
In the center is another shell that I may "Dabble" with a bit.....
In the center, it a large piece of corral.....
Netting and roping wee also added to the display......
I strung a set of battery operated lights throughout the "Beach" display!!!!
Over on the left side of the Tree on a pedestal .......
Is an urn filled with a fax boxwood ball.........
This is how it looked decorated for the Summer Patriotic Holidays.......
I added aqua, white and peach flowers to the boxwood ball........
Staying with the "Under the Sea" Theme.......
Bottles filled with shells and embellished with aqua trim........
Netting and embellished shells......
In the center is a bottle also filled with shells and sand and embellished with aqua trim and topped off with a box made from aqua and peach ribbon.......
Over on the other side of the Tree is a chair that I like to use for Seasonal displays......
Last year, I made this out of one of those glass cubes.......
I added a set of battery operated fairy lights to it......
More embellished shells are scattered about........
A Nautical looking rope is draped on the chair........
Another embellished bottle filled with sand and shells......
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I also decorated the areas around the Tree in the "Under the Sea" Theme!!!
I have been doing a bit more "Under the Sea" crafting.........
And I will be sharing those things in my next post!!!
So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

What a cute theme. We are headed to a beach wedding in August. I maybe adding some beach touches to our house.
ReplyDeleteSo many beautiful shells and sea creatures on your tree. My son loves your starfish ornament. Thanks for sharing at Merry Monday, see you next week.
ReplyDeleteDebbie I love your beach decor! I just got home from the beach and I am already missing it so much. It is nice to have some beachy touches around in the summer to hold on to the feeling just a bit longer. I love that anchor and your sea shell bottles, and the soft coastal colors all look so pretty for summer. Thanks so much for sharing at TFT!
ReplyDeleteI thought that maybe I had seen all of your Under the Sea decorations in the post that I just looked at, but I'm glad that I came and looked at this post. What cute decorations. I love your Conch Shells. Thank you for sharing at Over the Moon.
ReplyDeleteYour under the sea decorations are so nice Debbie. Thanks for sharing this and each week at Cooking and Crafting with J & J!!!
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning coastal charmer. Happy Summer, Kippi
ReplyDeleteImpresionante!!! Besos y feliz fin de semana!!!
ReplyDeleteMore lovely decorations! You really know how to embellish shells. So pretty. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm! xo Kathleen
ReplyDeleteYour Under the Sea theme Christmas tree is still one of my favorites. It looks like something that the little mermaid would have in her coral castle. So very pretty with all the blues and whites
