I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

I DABBLE IN A BIT OF THIS AND THAT!!!!

Summer Kitchen, Part 3, 2017

Welcome!!

Today, I will be sharing Part 3 of my Summer Kitchen Series!!

But first, I want to Thank Karren, over at Oh My Heartsie Girl, for featuring my post, Summer Kitchen, Part 1, from last week's Friday Feature Linky Party!!
Thanks so  much, Karren!!!

In previous posts, I have been sharing how my Kitchen looks this Summer.........

In Part 1, I shared this area of the Kitchen.......
Click HERE if you missed it........

In Part 2, I shared this area of the Kitchen........
If you missed this post, please click HERE........

Today, I will be sharing what's on top of the refrigerator and the shelf above the counter bar........
Let's start with the top of the refrigerator........
I do have a lot of vintage Kitchen items including a lot of canning jars.......
A vintage cherry pie plate........
A green handled egg beater hangs from the shelf....
A reproduction vintage style clock is on the wall in the corner........
A vintage looking ceramic plaque hangs below the clock.......
Now we will move over to the wall that borders the Dining Room........
This is the area above the counter bar......
On this long shelf, I have displayed a few vintage and reproduction Kitchen pieces........

I'll give you a closer look........

I recently added some vintage syl spice bottles to the shelf......
The vintage style canisters were bought at The Christmas Tree Shop a few years ago......

A vintage egg plate with matching salt and pepper shakers......
A vintage pitcher......
More vintage pieces........ A tole tray, roosters and an egg cup!!!
An Uncle Ben's can from a neighbor........
A vintage sifter and a martini shaker filler with pasta!!!!
A neighbor gave me this vintage Chlorox bottle!!!  How cool is that!!!!!
The vintage Beer Tray from Standard Brewing Co, here in Scranton was my Dad's......
I bought the rooster salt and pepper shakers at a yard sale......
The starch canister was bought at The Christmas Tree Shop.......
And more vintage style items on this end of the shelf.......
This shelf is above the pass through to the dining room which I have blocked by creating a fake window with a piece of stained glass, shutters and a valance.......
3 different garland is hung on the valance.........
A floral garland, a feed sack garland and an apple garland........
In the center, hangs an egg wreath that I actually bought a few years ago at Micheal's after Easter one year for 90% off!!!!
I'll keep this up until the Fall......
A white valance provides a nice back drop for the garlands and wreath.......
I hope you enjoyed seeing some of my vintage Kitchen treasures.......

In future posts, I will be sharing a few more vintage items in my Kitchen....
And I will also be sharing what I have been crafting to use to decorate the 6 foot white Tree in our Living Room for the remainder of the Summer.......

So I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......
