Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
In a previous post, I shared my Autumn Elegance Tree and Pumpkin Patch underneath the Tree.....
Click
HERE if you missed that post....
Today, I will be sharing how I decorated Joe's Great Grandmother's Hutch, the corner by the Stairs and the top of the TV Entertainment Center in an Autumn Elegance theme.....
We will start with the Hutch which is directly to the left when you walk in our front door.....
The shelves and sconces on each side of the Hutch.........
On the shelf, is a Pumpkin I made from a roll of toilet paper many years ago......
Next to the Hutch is a brass canister filled with Fall florals and LED battery operated branches.....
I did the top of the Hutch a bit differently this year.....
I bought these plaques on Clearance last year for 90 % off in Dollar General last year.....
They were under $1.00 each!!!
I painted the wooden rim around them gold to glam them up a bit......
I decided to use the melamine Fall dishes that I have used other years but place them on the plate stand behind each plaque, creating a border so to speak.......
Pumpkins, leaves and a crackle glass votive were placed around them......
Glittered clip on leaves were added to the garland above the antique mantle mirror.......
A bow and angel hang from the middle of the Hutch.......
And a string of lights along with lights on the garland and the candles light up the top of the Hutch......
I added some Fall accents to the inside of the Hutch where some of the Angels in my Angel Collection, crystal and depression glass are displayed.....
Pumpkin and Gourd tea lights that Joe bought at Bed, Bath and Beyond several years ago......
Also some orange and rust colored ball ornaments......
The shelf on the other side of the Hutch......
On the stairs......
Angels and Lanterns.....
I bought this Fall Angel at a church Flea Market.....
The other side of the stairs.......
A wreath that I made......
I also bought this sign at Dollar General last year for 90 % off taking the price down to below $1.00!!!!
I embellished it a bit by adding 2 gold leaves to it.....
On the stairs on this side......
A tin pocket filled with a floral arrangement.....
I bought this light up Fall crackle glass ball at Big Lot's this year....
I placed it in a carnival glass bowl.....
Toilet Paper Pumpkins that I made.......
I just made this one from left over green velvet like fabric I had....
These I made years ago and you can see that I made leaves from the same green velvet like fabric.....
A lighted ball bought in Ollies last year......
A cute Owl that Joe bought on Clearance at Target.....
I like to decorate this corner of the Living Room for Holidays and Seasons.....
And I like to decorate this vintage chair too!!!
Various embellished Pumpkins, pine cones and acorns.....
I bought the metal pumpkin on Clearance in Wegman's......
Underneath the chair.......
Joe bought this LED lighted branch Tree at Bed, Bath and Beyond a few years back.....
I decorated it with rust colored ball ornaments that I bought at Volunteer's of America and leaf ornaments that I embellished with glitter......
This year I placed it in a wooden tray and filled it with Pumpkins and Gourds.....
This sign is also one of the Fall things I bought in Dollar General last year for 90% off.......
I placed a Fall garland on top of the garland that is normally on top of the Curio.....
On the side of the Curio......
I placed an embellished Pumpkin in this urn.....
Many, many years ago I bought a Harvest Village at JoAnn Fabrics.....
I found a few more Harvest houses in The Christmas Tree Shop one year.....
Every year, I set it up on top of the TV Entertainment Center.....
Again, in Dollar General last year, I found this Fall Red Truck runner for 90% off......
This is what the middle part of the runner looks like.....
And how it looks from the side.....
I am not a fan of the whole Red Truck or any Truck decorating thing but I do like it for Fall because to me it symbolizes Harvest!!
I do have a Red Truck in the Pumpkin Patch under my Autumn Elegance Tree.....
Every year, I try to set up the Village a bit differently but it is pretty hard with limited space.....
This is my Harvest Village for this year....
I am just going to let the pictures speak for themselves.....
I had an Easter Village and a Halloween Village from Jo Ann Fabrics but I have passed them on over the years to family but I still do love this Harvest Village......
I hope you enjoyed seeing how I decorated these areas of the Living Room for Fall.......
In my next post, I will be sharing some Autumn Elegance Vignettes in the Living Room.....
This year, I added a bit more of my Victorian style in the way of newly framed pictures to my Autumn Elegance decor......
So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

Oh Debbie, I enjoyed this tour of your autumn decor. I would like to visit your home, and take an hour or two to enjoy all the displays. You have so many treasures in hues of orange and rust and brown. By the way, I like your lace curtains and that family heirloom hutch cabinet. Be well, my friend.
ReplyDeleteYou really do have an "Autumn Elegance" theme. I love to see all your displays. I changed the pillow covers on my throw pillows to fall today LOL. I just don't know how you do all this!!! You are an artiste!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love using lights in vases and over cabinets as you have? I do too -- it really brightens things up. (Although sometimes I forget to turn off the switch so I go through batteries like crazy!)
ReplyDeleteYou decorated the hutch and everything so nice for fall. I like all of the pumpkins you made too and nice decorations you jazzed up from the dollar store. Hope you have a nice week and a happy fall Debbie.
ReplyDeleteLove the embellished pumpkin in the Urn. I Love your homemade pumpkins. I am so glad you had Ollies in your post. I forgot all about that place til I saw it here. I must ride out to that store tomorrow. It's not real close but not terribly far either. Now off to put hay bale at lamp post.

Clearly alot of thought and effort is gone into dressing the staircase area and the hutch. The figurines in the hutch are a statement piece and love the candle stand/ lantern at the stairway.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing with us at Meraki Link Party.

Gorgeous, Debbie. I love your twig tree by the staircase. They are hard to find in my area especially small ones like that. And those are the cutest pumpkins going up the staircase. Love it all. Hugs, Melisa
