I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
I have been busy making Fall/ Halloween ornaments for a Fall/ Halloween Tree that I have decided to set up in my Kitchen.....
But first, I want to Thank Barb, over at French Etheral, for featuring my post, Dollar Store Dabbling from last week's Share Your Style Link Party!
Thanks so much, Barb!!
I also want to Thank Kathy , over at A Delightsome Life, for featuring the same post among the Top Viewed from last week's Home and Garden Party!
Thanks again, Kathy!
Please stop by and link up to these lovely parties....
I will be bringing the Tree that I usually decorate for Christmas and Winter down from the attic for Fall.......
I did not want to spend a lot of money on decorations for the Tree so I bought these wooden cut out ornaments at Dollar Tree......
They come 5 in a pack and I bought a few packs of each....
In looking through my stash of paint in my Craft Room, I found this sample container of paint!!!
A while back, I bought several of these sample paint containers at Lowe's on Clearance for $1.25 each!!
It was the perfect shade for what I wanted to do!
I bought these cute Fall wood plaques at Dollar Tree........
You can see the edges were white......
Being a lover of Traditional Fall colors, I decided to paint the edges this nice color of orange....
They are now more to my liking......
I painted a bunch of pumpkins and leaf ornaments.....
I then did a bit of dry brushing to make them look a bit more realistic......
These I painted with a burgundy and yellow color first.....
And then dry brushed them with orange, yellow and burgundy...
And for the pumpkins, I dry brushed them with a lighter shade of orange and yellow......
I bought enough ornaments that I decided to make some for the 7 foot Autumn Tree that I decorate in the Living Room......
I found Scrapbook stickers in my stash that I thought were the perfect colors to use.....
And I loved the sayings on them.....
"Everlasting Love, Bliss and Love Never Ends"
"Faith, Cherish and Love"
I also found a package of 50 Fall leaves that I bought last year at Dollar Tree and glued them to some of the pumpkins...
I then glued more stickers in the middle of the pumpkins......
These ornaments have been put aside to decorate my Autumn Tree in the Living Room which has a more elegant theme.....
These are the ornaments that I made for the Kitchen Tree.......
I decorate the Kitchen in mostly a Fall theme with a touch of Halloween.....
I painted a few wood and paper mache round ornaments that I had in yellow and orange....
And I glued the leaves to them....
I bought 2 packages of these cute felt Halloween stickers in Dollar Tree......
I then glued them on to the ornaments.....
I think they came out looking very whimsical which is what I was hoping for.....
These are the round paper mache ornaments.......
And these are the wooden ones......
I still have to glue a hanger on these and once I bring down the decorations from the attic, I may glue a few pieces of Candy Corn that I have on these because the Tree will be standing next to the hutch where I usually have some jars filled with different types of Candy Corn displayed....
This was the display on the desk part of my Kitchen Hutch last year....
So far, these are the ornaments for the Kitchen Tree......
I think they will fit in nicely with the touches of Halloween on the Hutch.....
I then painted the owl ornaments white and looked up on Pinterest how I wanted to paint them to look like owls......
Sticking to a whimsical theme, this is what I came up with!!
I did not have enough of the same size "eyes" in my stash so some have larger ones........
Some have smaller ones and one even has one small and one large eye!!
I glued some of the Halloween stickers to the owl ornaments also!
I hope you enjoyed seeing the ornaments I made for both my Kitchen Fall/Halloween Tree......
And for my Living Room Autumn Tree.....
It only goes to show you that you can create decorations for very little money using what you have and buying supplies at Dollar Tree.......
I have started to decorate our house for Fall and Halloween ......
So I hope you will stop by to visit again soon!!
Thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!

Looks like you're well on your way to creating an awesome looking fall tree, Debbie! Can't wait to see it!
ReplyDeleteWow, those are really cute. I haven't seen the felt stickers yet...
ReplyDeleteSooooo cute and inspiring!Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLove all you fall crafts, I also love to shop at Dollar Tree, Thank you for sharing,
ReplyDeleteSue
You are SO productive! And they are very, VERY cute! All of them!
ReplyDeleteYour Halloween decorations are darling! I can't wait to see your tree.
ReplyDeleteAmy,
DeleteThanks so much for stopping by again and for taking the time to comment!! I can not find a way to get in touch with you so I am doing so here..
Hugs,
Deb
You made the cutest fall/halloween ornaments and you are so creative and talented. Enjoy the week!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! Both groupings of ornaments came out great. I don't decorate for the holiday beyond (and you've reminded me it's time to do it) changing my placemats and napkins on the dining room table. But, I love your idea of the tree. Was successful in adding your blog to my blog list so visiting back and forth can be easier...even if you weren't the Debbie I was initial looking for, lol. I'll have to check out some of the linky parties you've got listed. Sounds like I should join a few to have more fun.
ReplyDeleteSo creative and cute Debbie. How fun to create these sweet ornaments. Once again, thank you for sharing at “Love Your Creativity.” Have a lovely week.
ReplyDeleteOh, these are darling! I love what you did with the shading on the pumpkins and leaves especially. :)

I was curious what you were going to do with these, like the painting and the stickers are cute with them!
ReplyDeleteLove them all! Cute and cheerful :)
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting and for commenting! I could not find any other way to respond to your comment so I am doing so here
DeleteHugs,
Debbie
WOW! These are super adorable and cute! Love them all!
ReplyDeleteVery cute Fall ornaments! I especially like the owls.
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed seeing the process of your ornament making. I have done very little for fall with the exception of vinyl clings on my glass front door so far. I usually only "trash" my front hall for Halloween for the very few trick or treaters that I get but I really enjoy it! My daughter's wedding is Sat., SO's nephew's was past Fri., SO's son, d-i-l and 4 kids were in town from MN for a week--good to be back to normal! Back to crafting for the church bazaar!
ReplyDeleteKathy,
DeleteSounds like you have had quite a busy time of it!! I had stopped decorating for Halloween when the boys got older but a good friend of mine whose son was also older, goes all out for Halloween and she got me back into it. I only do the Dining Room for Halloween though and a touch of Halloween in the Kitchen. The Living Room is decorated for Fall....Thanks again for visiting!!
hugs,
Deb
You make the cutest ornaments, Debbie. Thanks for sharing at Vintage Charm!
ReplyDeleteAutumn ornaments are perfect for your tree! I purchased a tiny white tree yesterday so I could put it up now and change the ornaments. Love yours!
ReplyDeleteHappy Fall!!!
Hugs,
Kippi
Fun stuff here girlie. Your home must be so colorful and warm with Fall. Thanks for posting at Funtastic Friday
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be such a fun tree! I am working on crocheting some sunflower ornaments for my mom to put on her tree of all seasons. Love the idea of keeping a tree up all year - so fun!
