Today, I will be sharing the china cupboard in the Den where I have some of my Red and Blue Transfer Ware displayed along with a few new Buys from Pier One!!
But first, I want to Thank Laurie, over at My Husband Has Too Many Hobbies, for choosing my post, Summer Patriotic Decor, Part 1, as one of the posts she featured as 9 Patriotic Ways to Celebrate the USA from the Celebrate the USA Linky Party!!!
I also want to Thank Beverly, over at Across The Boulevard, for also choosing my post, Summer Patriotic Decor, Part 1, as one of her features from the Celebrate the USA Linky Party!!!
I also want to Thank Gail, over at Purple Hues and Me, for not only choosing my post,
Summer Patriotic Decor, Part 1, as one of her features from the Celebrate the USA Linky Party
but for also choosing my post, Summer Patriotic Decor, Part 2 as another feature!!!
Thanks so much, Gail!!
This party is hosted annually by these lovely hostesses!!
And I also want to Thank Michelle, over at A Crafty Mix, for featuring my post, Bumping Out the "Bump Out", The Patio Project, Part 5, from last week's Sweet Inspiration Linky Party!!!
Please stop by and link up to this great party!!
For those of you who have visited here before, you may remember that I decorate the china cupboard in the Den for Christmas........
For Winter.......
And for St. Patrick's Day........
During the rest of the year, the china cupboard houses some of my red and blue transfer ware collection.......
This is the top of the china cupboard.......
A Birdcage.........
Light house.......
Victorian Ladies......
An angel and a Victorian flute cover hang on the china cupboard......
Some of my red and blue transfer ware pieces.......
Top shelf......
Middle shelf.....
Bottom shelf......
All these pieces were bought at yard sales, flea markets, estate sales and thrift shops......
The color theme in the Den is burgundy, blue, ivory and beige.......
So you can see that transfer ware goes nicely in this room.....
I kept seeing ads for Patriotic decor at Pier One and I was waiting for several items to be marked down on Clearance.......
After July 4th, I bought 2 putz houses and a set of bottle brush trees........
The houses are LED lighted and battery operated......
I thought they would fit in nicely with my transfer ware dishes.......
Here is the display that I set up underneath the china cupboard on 2 vintage suitcases......
I hope you enjoyed seeing my china cupboard, my transfer ware collection and my new Buys from Pier One!!
I hope you will be back to visit again soon.......

Debbie your dishes are so pretty, I love all the red and blue!
ReplyDeleteOhh!!! This display has me itching to create some patriotic vignettes! LOVE the dishes, and your displays are worthy of a dozen magazines - better than a lot of stuff I see. A real feast for my eyes as I enjoy an afternoon cuppa.
