I am a Victorian Soul, who lives in a small townhouse that was built in the mid 1970's, not a huge Mega Mansion!! I just recently lost my Hubby Joe, who was a Retired Letter Carrier. I worked night shift as an RN on a Hospital based Rehabilitation( Physical Medicine) Unit for 37 years before I had Knee Replacement Surgery and officially Retired in 2019 after 41 years working in Direct Patient Care ... I am so glad that we retired at 62 years of age and got to spend that time together before he passed....I still do love Retirement!!!!

A Post About Family

I usually don't do many posts with a lot of personal pictures but since I forgot to take pictures at my annual Family Christmas party this year, I thought I would share a wonderful afternoon Joe and I spent with my sister's family..........

My Great Niece, Carly, received First Holy Communion on April 1st

A party was held at a local Italian Restaurant not far from my Nephew's home........

I only have one sister, Barb, who is 10 years older than me, and she had 5 children. Her youngest, Brian, lives in South Carolina and unfortunately is not able to come home that often.

An early Birthday present from her uncle Dan and Aunt Heather, who will not see her for her birthday as they do not live here locally.......
 Madalyn will be 6 years old.......

 And my sister is going to kill me for posting this photo of her!!!
 LOL!!!

 I also want to share what my niece Lynn called a "Rare Sibling Moment".......

 Ironically, there is also a 10 year age difference between my sister Barb and me........

This is a photo of my cousin, Joe, with my sister Barb......
They are the same age and grew up together and have remained in contact with each other even though he lives away........

Joe and I shared a wonderful afternoon surrounded by family and we feel truly blessed......

And this week, Joe and I along with our sons Joe and Jim and his Love, Danielle will be joining my sister Barb, my niece Lynn and great niece Madalyn at one of the final shows of the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey Circus at the Mohegan Sun Arena which is literally minutes from our house........
I am sure we will enjoy seeing one of the final shows of this great American Institution, The Greatest Show on Earth.......

I hope you will come by and visit  again!!
