First, I want to thank Brenda, over at Cozy Little House, for featuring my post, Just a Few Tea Cups as The Best Display, from last week's Tweak It Tuesday!!
Thanks Brenda!!
And I also want to Thank Kathryn, over at The Dedicated House, for featuring the same post, from last week's Make It Pretty Party!!
Thanks so much Kathryn!!
Please take some time to visit and link up to these great parties!!!
In my last post, I showed you my Winter Wonderland Tree.........
Click HERE if you missed it..........
I continued the Winter Wonderland Theme in the Den......
Next to the Tree is an ottoman that I use more as a table...........
A few Snow Men.........
And a doll in Winter garb......
I also decorated in and around the China Cupboard.........
I am going to share these decorations in 2 posts........
Let's start with the top of the China Cupboard......
I moved the battery lit little evergreen trees that I had on top of the TV in the Living Room for Christmas in here as part of my Winter display.........
A bottle brush tree that was bought at the Christmas Tree Shop several years ago.......
Birds and framed Thomas Kinkade cards with Winter scenes on them.....
Trees that I made out of music sheet paper........
An Avon pitcher with a lovely scene that looks like a Currier and Ives painting...........
I left the same things in the cabinet that I had used for Christmas......
I hung some crocheted snow flakes from the lace runners and doilies....
I hung a Dollar Tree wreath on the door with a snow flake bought last year in J.C. Penney's in the center and another one on the other side of the cabinet.......
A pair of ice skate ornaments......
Another battery lit tree.......
On the side of the China Cupboard......
Winter Jingle Bells hang on the door.....
Another doll in Winter attire.....
Don't you love her pretty blue scarf!!
And in my next post, I will pick up from here and share how I decorated for Winter around the bottom of the China Cupboard......
So I hope you will come by and visit again!!
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
One other thing I want to share.......
TO THOSE THAT USE GOOGLE FRIEND CONNECT:
If you are a blogger who has noticed that your number of Followers are decreasing, this is why:
An update on Google Friend Connect
December 21, 2015
In 2011, we announced the retirement of Google Friend Connect for all non-Blogger sites. We made an exception for Blogger to give readers an easy way to follow blogs using a variety of accounts. Yet over time, we’ve seen that most people sign into Friend Connect with a Google Account. So, in an effort to streamline, in the next few weeks we’ll be making some changes that will eventually require readers to have a Google Account to sign into Friend Connect and follow blogs.
As part of this plan, starting the week of January 11, we’ll remove the ability for people with Twitter, Yahoo, Orkut or other OpenId providers to sign in to Google Friend Connect and follow blogs. At the same time, we’ll remove non-Google Account profiles so you may see a decrease in your blog follower count.
We encourage you to tell affected readers (perhaps via a blog post), that if they use a non-Google Account to follow your blog, they need to sign up for a Google Account, and re-follow your blog. With a Google Account, they’ll get blogs added to their Reading List, making it easier for them to see the latest posts and activity of the blogs they follow.
We know how important followers are to all bloggers, but we believe this change will improve the experience for both you and your readers.
Posted by Michael Goddard, Software EngineerTo those who have previously followed both my blogs, please create a Google Account so you can continue to follow my blogs and the other blogs that you love!!

If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......

Debbie
