In Part 1 of my Fall Tour Series, I shared how I decorated my Front Porch decorated for Fall..........
If you missed it , please click HERE
Today, in Part 2, I want to share how I decorated our small front yard for Fall, with a tiny touch of Halloween........
This is the small Flower Bed under our Living Room window......
My begonias and marigolds from Summer are still going strong as we have had Summer like temps. here in NEPA for the last few weeks.......
Finally, we have more Fall like temps. and I am in my glory because I do not like the heat of Summer.......
When unpacking the outside Fall decorations ( we store them in the Storage Shed that we rent), I discovered ( and remembered) that Joe had bought 2 new mini flags on Clearance at Wegmans last season.......
These flags have a silk like feel and supposedly will never fade from the Sun......
The colors are very vibrant......
The pumpkins were bought at Michaels many years ago ........
Yes, they are fake....all my pumpkins are!!
You may remember that I re-did this 1980's Country Style Tub that was my neighbor's.......
Please click HERE is you missed that post......
I decorated it with a Fall wreath and a potted yellow mum placed inside of it!!
On the wall that separates my yard ( remember that I live in a Townhouse) from my neighbor's, are 2 large urns that were going to be thrown away by my Church!!
They definitely make a statement, don't they????
I planted Tri-Colored Mums from Wegman's inside them.......
You can see that my begonias and dusty miller are still going strong and I did not have the heart to rip them out yet......
Wegmans is the only place where I have seen Tri-colored mums and they are only $6.99 each!!
When we bought the mums, almost none of the buds were open so they are just now starting to bloom.......
Looking down toward the front porch......
We will leave the solar lights out until we decorate the front for Christmas/Winter.....
Looking down our row of 10 townhouses toward the woods.....
You can see our small front yard......
The rest of our yard is a huge slope down to our parking lot.....
Looking out from the front porch......
We have woods on one side of our development and a Shopping Center on the other....
Through the trees , you can see the back of Lowes......
I bought this bench at Big Lot's several years ago and I LOVE to decorate it!!
Again, all the pumpkins and gourds are fake......
The shovel was a flea market find........
You can see Joe's car in the parking lot!! LOL!!
A simple leaf garland wrapped around the base of my faux mailbox.......
And this is only the Halloween decor that I have outside this year......
Sadly, our neighborhood has changed and for 2 years now in a row, we have not gotten any Trick or Treaters.......
Joe picked up another flag from Wegmans that was on sale of 50% off ( $7.00)
Love these flags......
So that is how the front of our home is decorated for Fall this year.......
Soon I will be sharing how it all looks lit up in the Evening!!
But in my next post, An Elegant Autumn Tree, Fall Home Tour 2015, Part 3...........
I will share how I decorated my Living Room Autumn Tree and what I did underneath that Tree......
So I hope you will come by and visit again!!
And thanks to those who took the time out of their busy day to spend a little bit of time with me!!
If you do not have a blog, PLEASE give me some way to reply to your comment, maybe by including your email in your comment. If I can not find a way to reach you, I will reply on the post where you commented so please check back......
Hugs,
Debbie
