Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!
I am so happy you decided to stop by!!
Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....
I
feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin
Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I
was....
I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....
As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

In my last post, over on my Christmas Blog, A Debbie-Dabble Christmas, I shared A new Tree and a small Christmas Haul for October's Rudolph Day....
Click HERE if you missed that post!!
This is my friend Michelle, dressed as an Angel, is one of the secretaries and Director of Religious Education at our parish...

And now for a few Personal Notes...
HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEK!!!
Let the festivities begin!!
TRUNK and TREATS.....
On Saturday, my son Joey and I joined my DIL Danielle for a Car Show Trunk and Treat at the Mall which is right down the street from us...
My twin granddaughters were dressed as Bingo ( Lily) and Bluey ( Gigi)..
A few pics taken at home...

"Planning their escape'
The Trunks....
Mimi and Uncle Joey thoroughly enjoyed this time spent with Danielle and the twins....
Unfortunately, my son Jim was at work but he enjoyed seeing all the pictures!!
On Sunday, I helped out with the 2nd Annual Halloween Party/Trunk & Treat in our Parish Center...
My church, Saint Maria Goretti, partners with Laflin borough, where the church is located, for community parties like this, a Christmas Party and an Easter Egg Hunt...
The Trunks....
This is my friend Michelle, dressed as an Angel, is one of the secretaries and Director of Religious Education at our parish...
This one gave out Shark Treats...
This is Jeff, who was a friend of my husband's...
After everyone got their Treats at the Trunks, they then came into the Parish Center for a Halloween party!!
Every child got a pumpkin and could decorate it....
They could play Pumpkin Bowling....
There were contests to try to win....
Prices for the best costume and trunk were given out...
Pizza was served...
Our Parish just purchased this huge warming tray that sits upon it's own table and can be rolled to whatever area in the hall that we want to...
There was a DJ playing Halloween Music and there was a Limbo contest...
And there was also a photo booth....
One of Father Alex's favorite movies is Jurassic Park......
He even has his ring tone on his phone set to the theme song of the movie!!
This is "Dennis Nedry" from the original Movie....
And this is father Alex's Halloween costume......"Dennis Nedry"!!
Same shirts, ID badge and rain coat and he is holding the Barbasol can that Dennis tries to smuggle the Dinosaur embryo's out of the park in....
Everyone loved it!!
Father Alex is also a huge sports fan so he set up something in the church vestibule for fellow fans....
A large TV so everyone who wanted to watch the Eagle's game could come in and do so or just run it to check the scores!!
LOL!!
Danielle and the twins could not make it to this one....
It was a lot of fun though and I hope they can come to it next year...
On Wednesday, Mimi and Uncle Joey will be joining Jim, Danielle and the Twins for a Malloween event where the stores inside the Mall are hosting Mall wide Trick or Treating...
We are looking forward to it!!!
And on Halloween Eve, the apartment complex next to me, where both my sons live, will be hosting a Trunk and Treat so Mimi and Uncle Joey will be also going to that event, weather permitting, with Jim, if he can get out of work early, Danielle and the twins....
They hold it in the parking lot right outside of Joey's apartment....
We are so happy to be included in all this Halloween Fun!!
Today, I want to share how I decorated my Victorian Doll House for Halloween this year....
I do love to decorate it for the different Seasons and Holidays....
The left side yard....
The left side of the front yard...
The right side of the front yard....
The right side yard...
I did enjoy it this Season!!
I do not normally decorate the Den , where Nelson Crest is located, for Halloween...
But I did put out my 2 Halloween Snow Buddy figurines....
On top of the computer armiore....
Truth be told, I am starting to decorate the Den for Christmas tomorrow as I like to have it done before Halloween....
Since I left up Christmas in the upstairs Sitting Room and Craft Room, I have managed to decorate the bathroom, the hall and my bedroom for Christmas already...
It usually takes me over 25 days to decorate the entire house for Christmas so I truly need to start early as I like to have it all done by Thanksgiving so I can sit back in December and enjoy it....
I hope you will stop by to visit again on THURSDAY for my Annual Falloween Home Tour!!
Stay safe, healthy and most of all, HAPPY!!

What a fun time you had! Those girls are so adorable in their little costumes. And at the right age to start getting into it all. How are they with your doll house? Do they want to play and decorate? I have a feeling that in a few years, they will have one of their own at Gran's!
ReplyDeleteWhat fun!! The twins are getting so big and cuter all the time. What you call the "stink eye," we called the "smook eye." Don't know why -- it was something my grandmother said. Have fun at all the festivities.
ReplyDeletePatty,
DeleteThanks for taking the time to visit!! I am looking forward to a few more Halloween events with my grands! Hope all is well with you...
Hugs,
Deb
Oh my gosh, they could not be cuter!! What adorable little girls!!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd both of your events - what creativity! How wonderful that so many people work so hard to make the events successful. I love the decorations and the costumes. Really Great! Your parish is just so vibrant too. I love all the ages coming together with such great fellowship.
Wow the effort that people have gone to with their costumes is very impressive! In UK I haven't seen Trunk or Treat get togethers! We call the trunk the 'boot' so it would have to be
ReplyDeleteBoot or Booooo! ! ( Lol) Your little twin girlies are delightful, they look sooooo cute in their Bluey onesies! Have a really great Hallowe'en, Deb , I know you will! Blessings!
Thank you so much for stopping by and for your kind comment...I too was impressed at the costumes on the adults!! Halloween is becoming a very popular Holiday here with so many people going all out in decorating their homes...I hope you are having a great week!!
DeleteHugs,
Deb
What a fun Halloween week! The girls are adorable and I'm sure Mimi had tons of fun joining them on their Halloween adventures! The trunk and treats look amazing, too! i'm always amazed by people's creativity! Your parish's event looked like a great outreach for the community, as well. Our church had our annual trunk or treat this past weekend, too, although we didn't attend this year. I love your doll house decor, too! So festive!
