So let's take a look at how I did on my Goals for July!
I started off with a bang but I fizzled for about 2 weeks when I apparently contracted a G I virus that took a toll on my GI system and I am still having issues.
I have a Dr.'s appointment today( Monday) with my family physician and one next week with my Gastroenterologist...
I have been feeling better but I am taking my IBS medication on a regular basis which I normally do not have to do....
JULY
Buy bags of mulch for the back yard after I cut back all the Missouri Primrose after it is finished blooming - NOPE!! I have tabled this until August or even September depending on the heat...
Decorate the Front Porch for the July 4th Holiday - YES!!!!
Help out with the Saint Maria Goretti Feast Day celebration at my church on the 5th and 6th of July - YES!!
Have a great July 4th celebration with my family on July 8th when my son and DIL are off - YES!
Start doing some crafting and using up some of my craft stash - YES!
To a certain degree as I did give my Gnome Garden some fresh paint to brighten it up a bit!!
And I also gave this sign and cardinal a fresh coat of pain too!!
Schedule some get togethers with friends and family - YES!!
Not only did I invite my late friend Anne Marie's husband for a lasagna dinner.....
I also invited my niece Renae and great nieces Carly and Cait over for Pizza!!
Spent some time, if not too darn hot, on the front porch in the afternoon, reading - YES!
I did get to spend a few afternoons on the front porch reading and working on my lap top doing blog posts...
I even started reading a book!!
Spent some time in the evenings on the back patio, if not too hot, reading - NOPE!
But I did spend some time out on the Patio in the mornings with a cup of coffee or tea...
Start to go through all of Joe's Sports Memorabilia and pass it along to family or through donation and decide what I will keep - NOPE!!
Hopefully in August but it was just too hot upstairs and I did not want to run the air conditioner all day long and then all night too...
Take down and pack away all of the Patriotic Summer Decor in the Living Room - YES!!
Deep clean and re-decorate the Living Room in my "Under the Sea" theme - -YES!!
Pack up my Roos/Hen and Bee decor in the Kitchen - NOPE!
Redecorate the Kitchen in my Late Summer/Early Fall Apples and Sunflower theme - NOPE!
I actually will be starting the Kitchen this week as I did already get the tubs down from the attic....
Watch My Mom Jayne by Mariska Hargitay - NOPE!
Well, I guess I did not do too badly in July, all things considered....

Hi Debbie, I haven't been blogging in forever but I just decided to look up a few I used to follow! I'm very sorry you lost your dear husband. But glad you are making the best of things and prettying up your home, as always. Soon it will be time for Fall ( Autumn) decorating!- I can't believe it! Take care, I will drop by again. Alex x
