 -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

In my last post, I shared Part 1 of my tour of my little Bright and Colorful Back Patio!!!

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

Joe was not one to take care of our cars nor the house or the yard for that matter...

Instead of trying to clean the car myself, which was in really bad shape after the Winter....

I decided to have it detailed......

There is an Auto Detailing Service right down the road from me, actually in front of where the storage unit that I rent is.....

I have to say that he did an amazing job!!!

It looks like a brand new car......

I do not think it looked this good when we bought it!!

And the inside of the car is spotless and quite shiny....

Since I have Weather Tech mats in the front of the car, I ordered a Weather Tech cargo liner for the back of the car....

Waiting for it to come in....

I want to share how the front of the house looks in the evening with all the lights on.......

I can't believe that after almost 5 years, the solar light is still working in the light house that I made out of clay pots....

A candle in the lantern.....

In the corner, the lights on the tree that graces the front porch year round.....

A solar light placed on top of this red lantern

And a candle placed inside of it....

The grapevine solar lights wrapped around the railing.....

The flower bed under the Living Room window.......

The tear drop lights.....

Lights wrapped around the Amish Buggy wheel......

And 2 solar lights on each side of my chippy angel....

The firefly solar lights on each side of the park bench....

My light post finally died after 20 years so I wrapped a set of lights around it and placed a battery operated candle that comes on by timer inside of it where the light bulb would go....

Another set of light is also wrapped around the top of the park bench......

I placed this water light that Joe had bought for 90% off in the bird bath....

It is remote control and changes colors.....

In my next post on MONDAY, I will be sharing the other half of my Bright and Colorful Back Patio......

  1. Your little grandbabies are so sweet and pretty as can be. Little Red Hen book is one my grandgirls loved too. Your car looks brand new and detailed it certainly is. Beautiful color. Looks like everything is coming up well at your home and your back patio looking good along with your front entrance. Happy Saturday, Betsy

  2. How pretty your garden looks at night with all the solar lights. It wa scertainly worth having your vehicle detailed as it came out so good. Today when I was going down backwards I thought of you and your advice. Have a good weekend, hugs to those beautiful grandbabies.

  3. Your front yard looks lovely, Debbie, especially at night with all the lights twinkling. You've reminded me we really need to have our car detailed. It certainly is money well spent. Your car looks brand new. Thanks for joining us for #WeekendTrafficJameReboot and have a lovely week xx
