Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

Blogging has always been a stress reliever for me along with an avenue to share my passions which are my home and my garden.....

I feel it is a personal Journal that, hopefully, someday, my Twin Granddaughters will be able to look back on to learn about who I was....

I will be posting 3 times a week on MONDAYS, THURSDAYS and SATURDAYS....

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

 A NOTE ABOUT COMMENTS

I enjoy reading your comments and will return the favor by visiting and commenting on your blog or reply to you directly here if you do not have a blog but I do have my comment section set to Moderation due to spammers and hackers so your comment will not appear immediately...
And since I have a very busy life, like most of us do, it may take me awhile to return your comments but I promise I will....

In my last post, I shared A Bit of This and That for a Saturday Snippets post....

I want to Thank Bev, over at Eclectic Red Barn, and Niki, over at Life as a Leo Wife , for choosing my post, Tea Buffet in the Dining Room, as one of the Home features from the month long link party, You are the Star!!

Thanks so much, Bev and Niki!!

Please stop by and link up to this lovely party!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

I have been feeling a bit better with each day, I am happy to report...

I do have an appointment now made with my Gastroenterologist in 2 weeks which was the quickest that they could make an appointment for me...

I also have an appointment with my Family Physician for next week, which again, is the quickest they could schedule but they have a feature called "Next in Line"

You call the office when it first opens and request that you be put on the "Next in Line" list and if there are any cancellations, they call you depending on the "Next in Line" ...

I will be doing such every day this week....

Wish me luck and thank you all for your concern....

The last time I shared my Front Porch was in the beginning of July when it was decorated for July 4th....

I also shared in that post the amazing Porch signs that my great niece Caitlin created for me.....

After the July 4th holiday was over, I returned the Front Porch back to it's normal Summer decor....

And I refreshed a few things when I did so.....

I bought these metal plaques in Dollar Tree in the early Spring....

I decided to give them a fresh coat of paint to fit in with my color theme of red, yellow, orange and black for the Front Porch....

I also decided to brighten up this sign a bit as it faded in the strong Sun.....

I used simple craft paints that I had in my stash....

Much better, I think!!

I do love how my new Porch sign looks with all the normal Summer decor....

And I could not be happier with all the faux flowers I bought for the porch as they have saved me so much time because I do not have to water them!!

I gave the wreath on the front door a little makeover....

I recently bought these flowers in Dollar Tree....

It seems that the red flowers on the wreath on the front door always seem to fade so I replaced some of those faded ones with the new ones......

I took one of those plaques that I repainted and hung it in the center.....

I took a few of those red flowers and added them to the vintage mailbox along with a mini yellow fly swatter.....

I rearranged the items that I hung off the weeping mortar.....

A Lady Bug Welcome wreath bought at Hobby Lobby a few years back.....

Another the one of those Dollar Tree plaques that I brightened up a bit......

I hung a "B" sign, that my late husband Joe had bought on Clearance for 90% off in Big Lots, under the porch light....

And hanging under it is the other sign that my great niece Caitlin created for me to match the Porch sign.....

On the other side of the porch light.....

The sign I gave a fresh new look to....

You may remember that I recently bought this in Gabes....

The toad stool plaque also came from Dollar Tree......

I bought this cardinal many years ago in Target.....

I thought it was time to give it a make over......

Now it goes well with the cardinals on my new signs.....

I added a few red flowers to the tree in the corner along with Bee signs from Dollar Tree.....

More welcome signs hanging on the railing....

I hung a new Lady Bug flag.....

I hope you enjoyed seeing how I gave my Front Porch a bit of a Refresh.....
