In my last post, I shared more of my Living Room decorated for Fall in an "Autumn Elegance" theme.....

Click HERE if you missed that post!!

Today I will finally be finishing up my tour of the Living Room decorated in an "Autumn Elegance' theme....

In my last post, I shared how I personalized the Bear that the volunteers at the Hospice Center made for me out of one of Joe's sweat shirts....

He is still sitting on the sofa but now he is surrounded by some of the pillows that I have made in the past for Fall......

I was up the attic yesterday doing some straightening out and brought down my Fall pillows....

I made all of the them from place mats, tablecloths and stamped cross stitch projects....

The gold chenille pillows were made from a drapery panel bought at Target about 20 years ago...

You can see I also made a table topper from the same panel

The fabric on the gold pillows matches the scroll pattern on my sofa and chairs...

I made this pillow out of tapestry like fabric place mats bought at Ocean State Job Lot

It only took me over 35+ years to finish this stamped cross stitch piece...

I finally finished it when I had my Knee replacement surgery and made it into a pillow...

The back of this pillow is the same gold chenille fabric as the other pillows...

My new Fall throw on one of the chairs....

I bought a beautiful tablecloth and ordered it larger than I needed so I could cut it and use the extra fabric to make envelope pillow covers.....

Another stamped cross stitch project, that took me 35+ years to finish, made into a pillow. and again the back is the gold chenille fabric.....

Now we will finally get to my Seasonal Tree that I decorate for every Holiday and Season throughout the year....

NO, it is not a "Christmas" Tree but a Seasonal Tree....

It is a "Christmas" Tree only when decorated for Christmas!

I know this looks a bit dark but the air conditioner is still in the window, blocking half of the light that could shine in, as Summer seems to be putting up quite a fight against letting Fall take over with cooler temperatures.....

And it has been a very cloudy and showery week, which is making the room look much darker...

I am not going to "talk" a lot about the Tree because not much has changed since previous years in the way I decorated the Tree for Fall.....

I did add some new Fall leaves and pine cone picks to the top of the Tree...

I added orange LED lights to the Tree after I stripped it down....

I did make some of the ornaments.....

Fall flowers are tucked into the Tree.....

A copper colored wore leaf garland is wrapped around it....

I decorated the platform that the Tree stands on like a "Pumpkin Patch".....

 The left side.....

I bought this fine gentleman at a church flea market several years ago....

I used pumpkins that I embellished with leaves, acorns and small round ornaments, placing some of them on gold pedestals and on top of gold pots.........

You may remember these candlesticks that I bought at a church flea market this past Summer....

And I spray painted this silver tray, that I already had, gold.....

I placed Home Interiors glass votives in the candlesticks....

On a park bench are some Bearington Bears....

The battery operated candles in the votives come on by timer....

The wood signs came from Gabes.....

A pumpkin was placed in a gold carnival glass bowl that was Joe's grandmother's....

This picture, that Joe bought for $1 after a tornado hit a furniture store near us,  originally looked like this several years ago......

 I turned it into this....

More embellished pumpkins with one on a brass candlestick....

Even a mallard duck planter....

And a pumpkin topiary, that I made, to the side....

I will take a picture to show you how it looks when I take the air conditioner out of the window and the Sun comes back out again, but I am thinking I will not get the air conditioner out until some time in October the way this Fall is going temperature wise....

And that completes my tour of the Living Room decorated for Fall this year.....

I took my time decorating this room which is why it took 7 days but I changed up some things, added a few new things and thoroughly enjoyed the process....

The Living Room is the only room that is decorated strictly for Fall, as the other rooms are decorated either for Falloween or just strictly Halloween....

I love how the Living Room looks decorated for Fall as these are some of my favorite colors....

When we first got married I had a beautiful rust colored sofa with gold swivel chair rockers so these were the colors that I had in the Living Room for quite a few years....

In my next post on SATURDAY for Saturday Snippets, I will be sharing my Black and Pink Gothic Halloween Powder Room!!

So I hope you will stop by to visit again on SATURDAY.....

  7. Look at all those lovely pillows! I love throw pillows but try to keep them to a bare minimum in the house because my husband loves to tease that throw pillows are for throwing since it's literally in their name.
