 Welcome to Debbie-Dabble Blog!!

I am so happy you decided to stop by!!

ANNOUNCEMENT

I am now posting 3 times a week !!!

I will be posting on TUESDAY, THURSDAY and SATURDAY

With the beginning of Fall, the HOLIDAY SEASON starts for me....

I consider the Holiday Season from September until after Easter as I decorate for all the Holidays and Seasons in between those months....

So I usually have a lot to share....

I will be doing shorter posts but 3 times a week instead of only 2...

As always, click on each picture if you would like to enlarge it....

Today, I will be finishing my Fall Tour of my Living Room decorated in an "Elegant Autumn" theme...

In my last post, I shared a post over on my Christmas Blog that I did for September's Rudolph Day showing some of the Christmas Crafting that I have been doing.....

Click HERE if you missed it!!

And now for a few Personal Notes...

Food of the Week

Last Friday, The Amish Farmer, that sets up every Friday at the Convenience store right down the road from us, finally had fresh home made cheese!!!

This is a block of mild cheddar....

Cheese curds that I used to make poutine on the weekend which I forgot to take pictures of....

And pepper cheese that I used for Cheese burgers to have with the poutine!!!

His cheese is always so good!!!

I have froze some too....

Joe picked up an apple pie on Friday from the Farmer's wife's Bakery!!

This shocked me because Joe is not one to eat dessert or baked goods except cookies.....

It was delicious!!!

And not too sweet which we like....

For Friday dinner, Joey's treat this week was from a local eatery, The Dough Company.....

An appetizer of cheese filled bread sticks....

And 2 thin crust pizza pies!!!

This one with bacon on it!

And this one was a plain pie!

It has been many years since we ordered from them as we were reminded of that when I saw that they were celebrating their 37th anniversary in Business!!!

Everything was so good and it is located on the other side of the Mall right down the road from us!!!

Joe picked up a package of soup from Sam's Club that was really good....

White Chicken Chili Soup!!

We split the one container on Saturday for lunch!!

We also like their potato bacon soup.....

For dinner on Saturday, I made up 2 Ready to Eat small round pizzas from Price Chopper....

This was the pepperoni topped one for Joe and Joey as I can not eat pepperoni.....

And the other was a plain one that I added mushrooms to which I forgot to take a picture of.....

Not bad for $5 a pie!!!

Today, I will be completing my Tour of our Living Room decorated in an "Elegant Autumn" theme....

I will be showing how I packed away almost all of my "regular" things, only leaving out a few gold framed pictures to keep my Victorian style....

In a previous post, I shared the entry and the corner by the stairs....

Click HERE if you missed it....

We will start with the antique table that holds my Nostalgic Stereo System.....

Joe found this at an antique Co Op and it was a perfect fit for the Stereo that I bought a few years ago.....

You can see my Halloween Tree in the Kitchen down the hallway....

Fall florals and Knick Knacks....

Mostly all from Dollar Tree....

I love the chubby holes this table has....

You may remember the Scarecrow I made from a can...

And the Owl Sitter that Joe bought at Big Lot's....

I have to put a small set of fairy lights inside this glass pumpkin to light it up but I am out of them so I am waiting for Ocean State Job Lot to get them in for Christmas which is where I bought a bunch of light sets with only 20 lights last year for a mere $2.99...

Almost all the ceramic pumpkins were bought at Dollar Tree.....

Last year, I made this "pumpkin" out of Pringle's cans....

Perfect by my neighbor Elly's vintage wicker stool.....

A red velvet like throw on the chair along with pillows I made ......

Over in the corner is the larger round table.....

I changed the table topper on it to a gold chenille one I bought in Target many years ago....

Gold cherubs and Fall florals back on the shelves on each side of the faux window....

Remember the Scarecrow Hat I made from a Dollar Tree playground cone????

I placed it on top of a copper colored candlestick.....

An Owl......

Left out my vintage phone....

A vintage depression glass vase....

Before I brought down pillows from the attic.....

The faux window....

2 Dollar Tree signs that I embellished and a Big Lot's  one.....

A wreath I made many years ago......

And I recently embellished these envelopes from Dollar Tree....

I hung them here.....

Sorry for the glare and reflection of the lights in the curio across the way....

On the other side of the faux window....

My "Elegant Autumn" Tree and Pumpkin Patch.....

Click HERE if you missed it.....

You may also remember the Scarecrow tussie mussie I recently made....

Well here is where I hung it!!!

The vintage 3 tiered table that my MIL took from a cousin's house for me!!!

Yes, when a cousin of hers was moving she went over and saw this table and told her she wanted it for her DIL!!

My MIL was definitely not shy about things like that....

LOL!!

Joe gifted me the lamp which he bought years ago in J.C. Penney's....

A heart shaped cup and saucer....

And a Tea for One pot....

The middle shelf....

The lighted globe is from Big Lot's....

The bottom shelf....

Faux gourdes in a vintage Carnival Glass bowl.....

On top of the TV Entertainment Center is my Fall Harvest Village....

I bought most of the village pieces in JoAnn's many years ago when my sons were young and I still decorated for Thanksgiving!!

Then I found 3 more Harvest Houses at The Christmas Tree Shop about 12 years ago.....

I had Easter and Halloween villages too but I passed them on to nieces of mine but still held on to this one as I feel it is unique!!!

The candles in the candle holders I made from A Dollar Tree vase and candle stick are battery operated and come on by Timer....

I made the wreath last year.......

Most of the trees are from Lemax's Spooky Town Collection sold in Micheal's....

A few decorations around the TV....

Those are our Grand Pups gifted to me by my son Jim and DIL, Danielle!!!

On the floor in front of the TV Entertainment Center....

That is another pumpkin made from a roll of toilet paper....

The smaller round table by the front door....

Again, I changed the tablecloth over to a gold chenille one.....

Joe gifted me the lamp and he bought it in J.C. Penney's.....

Still kept my Victorian Lady figurine out...

Vintage glass dish and a mercury glass owl....

The other chair....

And that completes my Tour of the Living Room decorated for Fall this year....

  1. I bet that homemade Amish cheese is just delicious! Those pizzas all look good, too.

I love all your Elegant Autumn decor! The houses are so cute. I used to have a Halloween village, too. I am pretty sure I gave the houses away . . . I haven't seen them in a while.

  5. I love how the lights in your decor bring out the warm colors in the fall decorations. The oranges, russets, and browns really glow in the light.
Thank you for sharing this post at Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 36.
