But first, I want to Thank Karren, over at Oh My Heartsie Girl, for choosing my post, "The Might as Well's and Early Fall Front Yard, as one of her features from last week's Wonderful Wednesdays Linky Party!!!

Thanks so much, Karren!!!

Thanks to Bev, over at Across the BLVD., for choosing my post, Early Fall Front Porch, as one of her features ( in her Saturday Newsletter) from last week's Beautifully Made Link Party!!!

Thanks again, Bev!!!

Please stop by and link up to these great parties!!!!!

Previously, I shared my Halloween Tree and Hutch in the Kitchen......

This is the first year that I decided to decorate the Kitchen Hutch for Halloween....

Click HERE if you missed that post.....

I have finally finished decorating the house, both inside and out, for Fall and Halloween.......

And I have done a bit of crafting, trying to use up some of my Fall and Halloween stash....

I had these 2 wood ghosts so I painted them white, drew faces on them and then decided to use up the stickers that I bought last year when I made my ornaments for my Fall/Halloween Kitchen Yree.....

An artist I am not and with carpal tunnel and arthritis in both hands, stickers are an easy choice when it comes to crafting!!!

Here is where I added them to the Kitchen.......

See them on both sides of the wall????

I hung this one on a cinnamon scented broom.......

And this one simply from the hook on the other side

Most of the Halloween decorations in the Kitchen are displayed on this wall so I felt it was only fitting to put these ghosts here too!!!

Now we will continue on with our tour of the Kitchen......

We will start here by the stove......

On the side of the stove.....

A cute scarecrow that Joe bought at Dollar Tree this year.....

I added some Fall florals to the Planter's Peanuts canister that holds my Rolling Pin Collection.....

And a white ceramic stacked pumpkin......

I used a magnetic curtain rod on the side of the stove to hang a Fall mini flag along with a Fall oven mit.....

I changed out the picture hanging above the stove for a Dollar Tree sign bought last year.....

I also hung a cute Halloween pot holder from the handles of the cabinets above the stove......

And added some magnetic Halloween characters to the hood and pot holders and a Dollar Tree tin pumpkin sign above the stove........

A Fall and 2 Halloween towels.....

Next to the stove......

A copper leaf was also hung.....

Where the Kitchen window used to be before we made the patio into our Den.....

I still treat it as a window.....

I hung a Fall leaf swag above the sign.....

And also hung a valance I made from a tablecloth......

Leaves hang from the gingerbread fretwork and an apple by the valance......

The top sign is new from Dollar Tree this year and the bottom is one from last year that I embellished a bit......

Plaid bow I made attached to the chandy that I also made.....

On the other side.....

The top sign is also new this year.....

On the "sill"......

Fairy lights inside of a Fall crackle glass hurricane lamp that Joe bought a few years back atWegman's...

You can see I do not have much counter space.....

In the corner.....

I added some Fall florals to the wire tea cop planter in the corner.....

Above the toaster is another Dollar Tree sign.......

Another Dollar Tree sign.....

A wreath that I made several years ago.....

Fall towels.....

The Beverage Center.....

Since I stopped working last year, we replaced a hot water heater, a microwave, 2 air conditioners and a refrigerator......

Add a coffee pot to that list!!!!

This was my second Hamilton Beach Brew Master.......

Well, it too bit the dust last week and rather than paying $60 - $80 for a 3rd one, I opted to use the Coffee Maker that I won in a raffle 2 years ago at my Great Niece's Dance Recital!!!!

I knew it would come in handy some day!!!!

It sort of reminds of something from the Jetson's cartoon show the way it is shaped!!!!

But it does make decent coffee and I need a fresh pot of coffee every morning.....

I bought the Sun Flower Bottle Cap sign last year in Michael's.....

My Sweet and Low and my coffee creamers........

Over on the side of the refrigerator......

My cocoa mixes and flavored Tea's......

Nothing special with our coffee mugs for the Fall...........

These are Joe's........

And these I bought on Clearance many years ago in Target after Christmas.......

They were part of a gift box and I liked the colors........

This is the other side of them.......

And I also have big plain white ones........

I do like my new refrigerator even though we were desperate and bought it sight unseen......

Now I have even heard that the shortage is even worse especially for anything with a freezer in it because of people stocking up on food and also the closure of the factories for some time, along with a lot of parts being made overseas......

I like to decorate the top of the refrigerator for every Holiday and Season......

I fall floral arrangement with apples that I made for this yellow vintage enamelware coffee pot.......

The colored glass leaf bottles were bought many years ago at The Christmas Tree Shop......

A pumpkin plaque that I bought on Clearance in Dollar General last year and paid under a Dollar for it.........

I embellished a bit.....

I collected refrigerator magnets from everywhere we traveled since the boys were young and would display them on the refrigerator......

The boys and Joe would even buy me ones from the places they went to as I am not physically able to travel anymore nor do I have any desire to do so.............

I would have loved to travel more when it was important to do so...When our sons were young......

But for Joe and I to travel now in Retirement would be a total nightmare because Joe has NO attention span whatsoever and we have such different and opposite tastes that we would constantly be fighting probably more so than we do now at home......

I have moved that collection elsewhere and now I am only keeping a few things on the refrigerator......

I actually made those crocheted Halloween magnets about 35 years ago when I used to crochet a lot!!!

These are pictures of all the fur babies I have had in my life time......

And pictures of my sons who are the most important people in my life......

The Counter Bar......

My Laundry display on the left side.......

I simply added a Fall plaid bow......

A fall leaf garland........

I also added an apple garland to it.......

And hung some seed bag ornaments from it......

And tucked some cotton picks into it.......

I used a plaid Fall runner on the counter bar.....

And placed gourd candle holders with pumpkins on them on top of the red mercury glass candle holders....

Underneath the Counter Bar......

I hung a curtain that I made from the same tablecloth that I made the valance above the sink from......

On the right side of the Counter Bar......

I have a bit of an apple thing going on here.....

And that completes my Fall/Halloween Tour of the Kitchen......

I hope you enjoyed seeing it.....

In my next post, I will be sharing the rest of my Autumn Elegance decorations in the Living Room....

  2. As always a joy to visit and admire your decor. I loved the mercantile sign, that caught my eye for obvious reasons. The halloween towels are a joy I don't think I have come across anything like them before, such fun. Loving the wreaths too, so much to admire.

Being back makes me think I need to get back to blogging once again. Been way too long. ( Seems like FB has been my thing since starting a Christmas group there.)

  11. Oh what a wonderful and delightful tour of your spectacular chicken. I just love the vintage look of your kitchen. The pops or red and yellow with mixed your vintage advertising pieces and chickens makes my heart leap with joy. Thank you so much for sharing. You are inspiring me to mix the yellow with my red in the kitchen. You have a great eye, Debbie.
